No one else shows all the 12v wiring and the details of the install they just show everything hooked up magically, thanks for showing the under belly, the fuse boxes. Was looking for exactly this in a video!
There was a reason your Victron energy dealer should always provide you with help. I always do that. I actually proactively reach out about it. This is because instructions change so following a video may not be good.
Yes, sorry for the delay on it. We had some adjustments we recently did and wanted to include them in the second part. It will be up tomorrow night at 5pm.
Splicing AC lines like that is dangerous. You should have used lugs. If you put a thermal camera on that connection, you will see that it going to generate a fair amount of heat. That is lost voltage. Please spend the $20 and put lugs on that splice.
@@greenecreekfarms this is not confidence inspiring doing many proficient you’re going to bend why isn’t actually potentially damaged them but it also suggest you have done a lot wrong
@@UKsystems Yes we did do things wrong in this build. We never claim to be experts and we say that in the videos. We have done revisions on this system since the time of making this video.
@@greenecreekfarms unfortunately things like a power system is something way you just can’t afford to make some of the mistakes that you did make. I understand they are corrected now but you should really have brought a professional on board to check out or give you guidance then only because you have probably spent more money redoing things.
@@UKsystems I agree that you should have a professional consulted on the system. We did have a professional to look over our system and instructed us on the necessary changes we should make. We did not make a follow up video on the corrections because of the lack of interest and engagement on the solar installation. We did address a good bit of the issues with the first installation in part 2 of this video.

Glad it helped

Is there a continuing video for this one ?

It’s insane that Grand Designs installed that DC breaker for the factory inverter where they did. They put zero thought into that.
I completely agree, with us revamping the system it was nice to put things back where they make sense to us.

Yes Sir, we have done many revisions since the installation of this system and have upgraded the wiring and orientation as well.
