This spider suit reminds me of that old toy biz figures marvel heroes with mecha suits . The mecha suit was generic AF , but the spider suit looks so awesome. Ps his web shooter brings a whole new meaning to finger blasting mj
The actual hips are the problem. The pegs are the correct length. Swap them with the retro symbiote Spiderman hips and it works perfect. No idea why they used the hips
Definitely a nay for me. We need Octo-spidey and Spider-Carnage. Spider-Carnage needs sculpted symbiote veins on his legs. And they really need to have a sculpted webline Spider-Man soon.
The hip doesn't bother me at all that much the figure still looks good it's about collecting toys and having fun . With it. This wave is probably one of the best waves Hasbro has put out lately . Despite their financial problems. This figure like the rest of the other figures on this wave shows that Hasbro is really trying . Harder. This wave is a hit . With all its figures in My opinion. But I think this one shot Spidey is fine I have no grips with it. And I think that it will be one of those cheesy fun figures to play with to remember years later .

Broooo... wtf did they do to his hips?! That is SO unacceptable! That is one thing on an action figure that is an absolute deal breaker for me, if a figure has a thigh gap that looks like he... HE could give birth, it's a 100% no go. I bet that they used a peg system from another figure that they had extras of, that were similar in size, but a bit longer. I really like the design of this suit, it must be inspired by a suit artist Alex Ross created many years ago..it’s too similar to be a coincidence. A Spidey figure should 90% of the time be posed dynamically & that will hide the crazy thigh gap but it’s a shame that Hasbro put out this figure like that. They deserve a WTF? for that. Hasbro has put me off the legends line with this. They shown that they have no love for making quality and that they are not interested in fixing any of their problems/inaccuracies while continuing to jack up the price. I’m off it. Figuarts, mafex, mezco, diamond Select will be getting my money now for all my marvel needs. I’ll just get less of them. Way to go legends team. U finally got me off of something I’ve loved for a long time and spent a ton of money on. No more. Thanks Manny for doing these reviews so I can see how trashy they are before I buy/ don’t buy. When it comes to Spider-Man, I prefer the amazing friends body as well. I like the retro body don’t get me wrong, but it’s a little too bulky for me I usually prefer Spider-Man to be a little leaner.
Once I get the figure imma have to mod him as well as my Zombie Iron Man. (I gotta fix his weird ass leg gap and I gotta fix the Ozmbie iron man forward crunch)
Man it's a shame cos I really wanted this version of spiderman but this release just feels so half hearted. The rest of the wave however... imma be on that

Thanks for the review Xmanny. I appreciate your effort. Admittedly, Hasbro ML had been on a roll with delivering product that doesn't expose their parsimonious agenda. Yet every now and then collectors are reminded of what Hasbro ML is capable of doing. This is one of them. The lower torso should never have passed the QC, let alone a design review stage. Accuracy towards character reference would determine the "shot" comes from the wrist and NOT the hand. An easy fix if discovered in time. Yet, a tale of two Spidey's saves this product from total failure with an excellent head sculpt. I never thought I would type this on a public forum but here goes: sometimes head is not enough. I think I'll pass on this one. Up next? Well, it's DD's 60th Anniversary this year and I would be interested in some TLC paid towards hitting off one or two from his rogue gallery.

Yeah it makes you wonder what if, right? It’s a scary concept to think because if Spidey was an assassin, he would be nearly unstoppable not holding back.
As much I don't want the figure because I don't like Spidey with web guns, I do think he looks cool especially you can recreate that one iconic panel in the comic when Peter shoots someone and I don't have him in hand but ny friend might get him for me, Overall, Great review on Spider Shot.

I wondered if we're gonna get a proper spider man trilogy wave figures like the darkest days since we now have the nwh versions are we gonna get the OGs then? I mean we need a Venom, Sandman, Green goblin (original), Doctor octopus (original), Mary jane watson, New goblin, black suit spider man and wrestler spider man like are we gonna... soon?
If you have an extra black spider-man buck, heat and pop this figure's legs to replace it with the black spider-man's legs. Though if you want a more muscular look, replace his shoulders with black panther's shoulders (Black vulcan buck) and do the same with his legs before switching the boots
