My guess as to why the comic figures are so great this year is that there aren’t a lot of MCU stuff so they can dedicate more budget towards these ones
Legends usually does a good enough job with the Spidey villains. But I would still love to see, arguably the easiest figure Marvel Legends could do, Slyde, and add in a Chance figure and I think I might be happy with my Spidey line (of course an easy to get classic Lizard would be nice) And a to scale standard Sandman figure would also be nice.
5:31 Render images for this figure have the upper parts of the buccaneer boots on the other legs; back boot wrinkles are shown reversed. You can find the renders at the ArtStation page of Daniel Salas, who did the sculpts for the head, fire-hair, torso, forearms, open hands, fists, saucer and bombs. This strange final product change was on Bucky-Cap too. His package renders also had the boots on the other legs. I believe the final products' boots are on wrong because they angle outward and aren't as straight as in the renders. 10:29 Did you know that the shoulders on the Mysterio figure are the same sculpt with one being backward? I thought it was QC at first. But nope, they just made one shoulder mold for both arms.
I'm probably asking for too much (though not really considering the prices are dipping into diamond select's price range) I wish the fire effect was a clip on piece, turn the profile into a face plate that plugs between the grooves of the pumpkin mask to allow for different looks or expressions and lastly, give this figure an unmask head sculpt. These changes would definitely make the purchase feel more warranted/earned imo or at the very least if not those additions I listed earlier, give this figure that flight from the demogoblin wave. Regardless, I still enjoyed this figure! I just wish it came with more considering the asking price. Side note! If you want an different or additional pumpkin head sculpt and scarf piece, then I strongly suggest EPIC H.A.C.K.S. Grim Spectre Skeleton 1/12 Scale Figure from Big Boss Studio or Toy Biz Spider-Man Sneak Attack Bug Busters Jack O' Lantern Bug Eye Blaster. Granted, you're gonna need to drill out the neck hole accordingly to fit the ball hinge neck joint but, once it's done, it'll look bad ass!
Thanks for this review Xmanny. I've been on the fence since this one was revealed, but now I am convinced to buy it. Don't you love it when some TLC gets put into a product? The head sculpt alone is worthy of a purchase, however the look on those gloves is amazing. I believed the days of expecting such from ML were gone, but am pleasantly surprised to see its return. They need to do "carrion" a new hobgoblin with a classic head sculpt not like that cheap retro one from a few years ago ,a stixx and stone 2 pack , cardiac , more gamerverse villains like rhino, scorpion etc , a brand new green goblin with butterfly joints and torso rocker , pinless a battle damaged spidey, a McFarland mj😊
Hasbro went to work on this figure. It looks like they are starting to figure out adding textures to a sculpt doesn't cost them extra money. I only knew the character as Mad JAck. Punisher killed 'em in Civil War. I also saw Ghost Rider fight 'em back in the 2000's too. Mad Jack gets around.

The old Hasbro Jack O Lantern was one of my favorite Legends.

I think lately the quality put into the Spider-man series is much better. It improved. Also the Wolvie packs are quite an improvement.

The attires are different, so they can’t. Unless you mean the legs.
