Mike Patton, sure. But, what about the other Mike? Mike "Puffy" Bordin absolutely destroying those drums!
One of the most underrated drummers in the game.

Puffy is definitely my favorite living drummer. Him and Billy on base are out of this f’ing world. The whole band, Roddy, Mike, Jim/Trey/John… the parts are amazing, the sum of the parts is even better, and then you add a touch of chaos from their amazing live shows, and you’ve got magic.

agreed! and one of few left handed drummers as well

Bordin is the man, he laid some great drums down for Jerry’s Cantrell’s masterpiece record degradation trip vol1&2. Not like technical insane or anything but perfect to go along with Jerry’s music and that’s what matters. Great drummer

Mr. Bungle’s “My Ass is on Fire” is a bombastic, disjointed piece of genius/insanity. Mike Patton goes HAM.

    My favourite band ever.
Love Mike (ok, you know that just by my pic), the best voice in the business and a full showman on stage.
Also, Billy's my favourite bass player ever.
    Love from Portugal.

Lol FNM one of my favorite band
Saw them a few times in the 90's and met them also
They were sometimes opening for metallica and GNR
    Good old days

One of the best singers in metal rock also Devin townsend. I say that more because the context, and for me these can do anything. No disrespect to any other metal singers. I do have other faves, but the style, those 2 are my top.

  • @ignoblesavage5559
    @ignoblesavage5559 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

BTW, I believe the song they went into/appropriated 2/3 of the way through was Steely Dan's "Dirty Lowdown."
Really skilled implementation of that...so.ething they've done ever since MP joined up (anyone remember the Nestlé jingle? "Sweet dreams you can't resist, N-E-S-T-L-E-S...creamy white, dreamy white...").

They have to react to this man singing in Italian the song "Il cielo in una stanza" for his Mondo Cane album, one more example of the versatility of Mike Patton's voice

He’s definitely not underrated, he deserves more popularity and attention forsure but almost everyone who is familiar with his work has him incredibly highly rated.

Just wondering if it was lost on everybody, how the band stops in the middle of the song....not to listen to the audience singing the chorus, but actually to switch up to doing a cover of Boz Scaggs " Dirty Low Down " before finishing the song? BTW the epitome of midlife crisis is playing a Yacht Rock classic in front of thousands of rabid metal fans, and expecting them to know what the fuck is happening.
