finally a relatable kitchen reno by influencers where the owners paid for it and is not sponsored (except for that matte items Emma mentioned). It looks lovely and practical, everything in its right place. 😍
Oh Emma it’s absolutely gorgeous and you must be feeling so proud knowing you bought and paid for it all by yourselves. Well done and I’m now excited to see your finished guest bedroom. Spring is around the corner and you’ll soon be enjoying drinking your morning cuppa sitting in the nook and looking out those gorgeous doors...weather permitting...lol! You and Simon are a treat to watch..missed you but so glad your back x
The kitchen is FABULOUS!! Streamlined and clutter free, just the way I like my kitchens too. I couldn't survive without a double sink setup. It's for draining pots etc when you have the other sink full of washing up water and realise you've left a pot on the stove behind you that's full of gross veggie water, you can tip it out without going to the garden to chuck it on the plants, lol. Great for peeling veggies and washing them in the smaller sink, so great for water saving too. Once you've had it you wont be able to live without it!!
Aw Emma it's gorgeous! Loved how you and Simon ( his smile is so lovely and he seems so supportive and so nice, you've got a good'n there) filmed the process, that was really enjoyable to watch. Have a good break and enjoy your kitchen when you're home. X
I agree the old kitchen was not in bad shape but the new is ultra modern and much more efficient using the space and the full double doors are perfect and I love the idea of the tulip table with the gray velour chairs! Congratulations and enjoy your new space!
This kitchen is 100% you guys, I love it. At first I wasn't sold on it, but by the time you went around and gave the whole tour, pulling out all the cabinets and stuff, I was like "Wow okay, this is niiice" I LOVE the matte black switch covers/sink/faucet - those look so cool. And those Neff appliances look fun to play around with. In regards to the American style fridge, I noticed that there's a compartment on the inside of the door that seems to hold water for the water dispenser. I've never seen that on an American fridge before. Does that mean your fridge isn't connected to a water line and you have to manual refill the compartment to have water on hand?
This whole video is so relaxing for some reason not sure if its because of your voice or how aesthetically pleasing everything is. Your home is beautiful.
I’m in love. ❤️ Idea: You could put a round drop leaf table in your kitchen nook. That would enable you to have cozy meals with a beautiful view and be space saving at the same time. Excellent job!
The small side of the sink could be used for your soapy water. Believe it or not but it actually saves you soap and is much more efficient to squirt some dish soap in there and fill it with a bit of water. Dip your sponge in there as you're washing up and go to town!
Smaller sink can be used as a drainer, to soak dishcloths, Ikea do a colander that is likely to fit to assist with meal prep & I’ve been known to fill with ice to keep wine chilled at parties!
After saw your bathroom renovation I watched this one which haven’t seen. Is amazing how a new room looks afterwards when is all done. The hardest part is waiting to be completed and how messy when is ripped apart to be renovated. I always love having a kitchen island. Grey and white is my favorite colour aswell. My sitting room and bedroom is grey and white. I love having a pantry aswell. Dishwasher i never use prefer wash myself since you have to prepare so much for the dishwasher rinsing the dishes before go in i would have the dishes done by the time i put in the dishwasher which i would remove from the kitchen. I like having a deep kitchen sink. Is nice having two sinks you can rinse the dishes on one side or wash vegetables. The cooking tower is so cool.
Wow, you guys must be so chuffed it looks absolutely gorgeous, so light bright and spacious! The colour palette is so relaxing and goes great with the floor and your new bifold doors really open it up. We also have a hidden cutlery drawer like that and it’s so satisfying, much like the hide n slide 😉🙌🏻 Like you say Quartz is really durable and I’ve actually chipped dishes/cups by accidentally dropping them on it but the crockery will break before there’s a mark on that damn worktop 😉 I think it’s great that you did it all yourselves and probably all the more satisfying that you’ve done it with your own hard earned money. The fact it’s documented is also cool, as when it’s all finished and pretty you forget how bad it was going through it (in our case for a year whilst renovating it was constant chaos) and so it’s great to look back at before pics to see how far you’ve come to compare. Lastly as a child of the 80’s I appreciated Simon’s Europe moment with the final countdown 🤣🤘🏻. Safe travels wherever you’re off too 😘
Very nice indeed, guys! Excellent choice of colour. Love doors with no handles and soft close. Now you can finally have your dining table back, yay! 🍽 xx
Watched this with my hubby & now we both have serious kitchen envy!! 😂 Also very impressed with the black switches & plug sockets... how did I not know that was a thing?!
You guys! You did an amazing job!! Simon, you are THE MAN!! It took me a while to get to this but since today it is -29 degreesF outside, I finally made it here!! Great work being patient Emma! 😉👍🤗
It’s fabulous! Simple and sleek but not boring. Good job guys, the dust and mess is hell, we’ve lived through it many time but can’t beat that feeling when it’s all done. A couple of cosy chairs and small coffee table for the end of kitchen? 💗
Hi Emma and Simon, the kitchen looks gorgeous. The small sink is very useful for pouring away leftover drinks etc when you are have a sinkfull of nice clean water when you are cleaning or washing up.
I love it! I thought when you showed the CAD designs initially that it would look too modern and a bit clinical but it's turned out really awesome! As usually you've nailed minimal without losing warmth! x
Hi guys ,I really enjoyed watching 👍 you've done a brilliant job and a beautiful make over, I am impressed with the tiles ,they look nice and shiny ,I'm about to start mine ( not going to lie I'm as nervous as hell ,I've not painted over tiles before so not looking forward to that part) 😬 well done on the work top too ,looks brilliant 👍 the thought of doing around the sink puts me off of doing mine ,but now I've watched you I might give it a go ! ... Your 2 walls by the table I would have a big abstract canvas painting full of bright colours on the end wall ,and a big mirror on the side wall to bounce some light around from the kitchen window 👍 ... Anyway, well done you both done a brilliant job 👏👏👏 ..x
I’ve got the same sink as you but in white and I really wish I had got the one which was one big sink.. I never use the small side as like you said.. I don’t really know what to do with it 😂😂 and I then find I can’t fit a baking tray in the bigger side to wash properly!!! Your kitchen looks lovely 😍😍
Oh no. We have only used the kitchen a couple of times as we have been away but we have found the small bit useful for cleaning out pans/tins etc. Luckily we haven't had to clean a big tray yet but hopefully it will fit 🙈
Just found your channel and found it very interesting, I used to design kitchens and I think you have a fantastic kitchen your fitter as done a brilliant job making everything fit and hidden. Just by chance it is exactly the same we have chosen but we are having the gloss finish. The information regarding the induction hob was incorrect they only take up the same depth. Once again congratulations on such a fantastic well fitted kitchen , I'm having blue LEDs in the stainless plinths. Nice choice on the abode tap which comes from 1/2 a mile from where I live.
OMG Em I absolutely love it,it had turned out amazing!I bet you’re both over the moon with it 🤭 and reckon two chairs and lil table in that back area so you can look out onto your garden! 👍🏻
Lovely kitchen! My house is almost finished, just need to paint all the walls. Not looking forward to packing everything up again and all the clean up, but once it's done it will all be worth it. Would love to see a video on how you save money for a big project like this
Wow!! Well done you and Simon. I ruddy love it! I moved into my house 2 wks ago which is a renovation. Wood chip paper and avocado bathroom. Can't wait to do it up gradually. I will look into the matt light switches. X
I did enjoy your video. Your kitchen is fantastic and the storage capacity is amazing. It looks beautiful and is so well designed. Love the flooring and the new glass door. I think a table and two chairs in that space is a great idea. You make me want to tackle my kitchen which has definitely seen better days.
What a marvellous renovation, what a change. Can't wait to see the new painted white pine door, and your table and chairs, which I think incidentally should be royal blue velvet.... mmmm, but I'm sure whatever you choose, it will be just great, like the rest of the choices you've made. Lovely job.
Beautiful kitchen, very well thought out. Just one thing re the hob. I don't know who told you induction hobs take up lots of space underneath but it's not true. We have one and still have two deep pan drawers plus a full depth cutlery drawer below.
Yup, totally agree.Im a joiner to trade & fit loads of kitchens. An induction & gas hob rarely protrude beneath a 40mm worktop. Certainly don't lose a drawer. Perhaps research before posting ?
Oh my goodness, oh my goodness!!! My little heart was going at the start of this video! Where to start with the fabulousness of it all?! I LOVE the under-counter sink, looks so much sleeker like that., the tap and those matte black sockets and switches - just divine! Your kitchen fitter did a magnificent job of putting in the cabinets round the supporting beam too. I just love, love, love it! Can not wait until ours gets fitted at the end of Feb now!! xx
i have no words, i am so amazed and happy .you have a perfect home for my perspective, just have enough room for everything and not like so mansion like and your home is so cozy, classy . i love it a lot ,
Gawwwd Emma, I know exactly how you felt with all the dust. I started laughing so hard when I saw the huge hole where the window was supposed to go. 😳😂 I lived in that state for 3years, yes I did. But you got beautiful results, absolutely love it. 💕 Enjoy the feeling of being done with renovating and the great results! 👍🏼😃
Yes Emma and Simon!!!! It's an absolutely lovely reno. And before you even said it, Emma, my first thought when I saw your finished plant space with the doors is a white tulip table! Also, have you considered doing some kind of built-in for the puppies' eating area?
Wow, it looks so nice!! Love the minimalistic vibe with the matte black details. In our split sink we use one side for washing and the other for drying. We have a dishwasher, but we wash our pots and pans etc by hand and we leave them in the other half to dry, or to sit while we finish the rest of the dishes. :) could also be good if you have used a mug or cup for example and want to wash it by hand, but not occupy the main sink with dishes.
oh and you've probably already bought kitchen knives, but I have the ikea silver ones (think they're called 365+ or something like that, but it's the all silver ones) and they're really good and affordable. I'm so impressed by them, even though I don't do too much cooking haha
Love the video and the new kitchen. Isn’t it nice when everything is new and clean? We had our kitchen done a few years ago and it was 2-3 months of Hell, but I still love my kitchen so much!
OMG, your kitchen is gorgeous. I love the matte finish and you are going to absolutely love the boiling water tap. Just hold your tea cup under that thing and get instant boiling water...I love the look. Everything is so sleek and modern. Outstanding
WOOOOOWWWW it looks absolutely beautiful! So efficient & clean cut. Love the colour. Makes me want to redo my kitchen 😩 Simon singing at the end 🤣🤣 loving the USB power plug. And that fridge 🙏
Very sleek and timeless ❤️🙌🏼! I was thinking a comfy kitchen sitting area would be so well suited for the space, like two lounge chairs and a tufted ottoman with a tray. A neutral grey pallet for furniture with small pops of colour with a throw pillow and then carry those colours into the kitchen with coloured plant containers and towels. I’m thrilled to see what you two are going to get up to with design aspects! Enjoy vacation! ☀️
Oh it’s fabulous Emma... it reflects you in a million ways... sleek, classic, no fuss and absolutely beautiful!! Well done to you and Simon for the patience and hard work ....👏👏👏❤️
Nice🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 but the part about the induction cooktop can not be true, cuz I have one and right under are my spons, I did not lose any space. I am from germany so I wonder for what do u use the Hot boiled water?
I’d like to know how you pull the racks out on that pantry cause it kind of looks like the racks hanging on the inside of the door would block them from rolling out.
Looks fantastic! So up my street! The smaller part of the sink is so useful, if you’re doing some washing up in the big part it’s great to have the smaller sink for washing your hands or tipping left over drinks down etc. Wouldn’t want to do without mine now. Quick question, where is your washing machine?
Looks absolutely gorgeous. Well worth all that annoyance with the dust and clutter. Bet you’re looking forward to enjoying it properly! Great video. Plenty of food for thought. Thanks for documenting the process. 👍
Absolutely love it! Top tip for a composite sink- rub a little baby oil on it once in a while and it keeps it from going chalky. Enjoy your lovely kitchen! X
It's beautiful Emma. You and Simon did an awesome job. I have to say, I just love the light swiches in the UK. We have large ones in the US. Enjoy your lovely kitchen!
Love your new kitchen ❤ When we were choosing a kitchen 11 years ago I wanted my cupboards built to the ceiling but Hubby+ kitchen planner wouldn't hear tell of it!!! Such a dust+grease collector!! 😡😡😡 Next time!!! What I did get was my dishwasher at knee height so no bending down 👍👍
Congrats! Looks sleek and fabulous. And worth the dust 🙄 I’ll check out your blog as curious how you fitted in the fridge and why you had to swap the dishwasher for the bin.
Guys love the new kitchen I have a similar sink- in case you are wondering, I use my narrow section just to air dry stuff. NO Dirty dishes in that space! Lol So for example - my dish washer does not dry lids very well so I’ll air dry them in that section Hope that helps you 😍
Absolutely love the new kitchen it’s very you ! We did ours about 5 years ago and I was so excited to have the pull out larder cupboard 😄 Definitely worth all the dust - which will keep landing for a little while lol x
Just discovered your channel and ‘I 🥰 love 💕 it’.......will be looking forward to watching some of your past videos and have ‘subscribed’ to catch all the future ones....🤗
Gorgeous!! Do you happen to remember the colour name/brand of your worktops from the supplier you mentioned?! We are just about to start a full extension & kitchen & trying to finalise stone. Bring on the dust! 🙈 X
In absolute awe of your new kitchen guys congrats, well done! It is all worth it in the end, dust fairies and all! And Emma, the new fridge freezer is a stunner among the cabinets! Could you tell me about the flooring, is it laminate and if yes which colour? 🤩👏💝
I think it’s fabulous but can’t help but wonder what’s the difference between an American fridge and a British fridge? I did note your other appliances are considerably smaller than the ones I have so maybe size?
Yes, American fridges are largely much bigger and have to two opening doors whereas most British fridges just have the one swing door and a lot are integrated into a unit 👍
i despise modern style deco and architecture but i have got to say that you guys have done a beautiful job . although you used a cold palette and you kept it rather simple it still feels welcoming and warm . congrats
Love it! It’s a beautiful, modern but warm space. It look bigger as well, maybe just because of the clean lines and colors. Great job documenting the process was fun to watch, thank you for sharing!
Loving your new kitchen, Emma and Simon ......looks great. Like your idea of a table and chairs too .... mornings with the back doors open will be lovely sitting with a mug of coffee or working at the table. Anyhoos...enjoy - it's been worth it.
ALL I CAN SAY IS. WOW 😮 😮 WOW, WOW, SUPER STUNNING & SO MODERN, BET YOUR SO GLAD ITS DONE AND YOU CAN NOW USE IT & ENJOY IT SO MUCH👍👍🥰🥰🥰. I can’t believe I’ve watched the whole video with No sound, Cos hubby asleep next to me, and couldn’t wait till the morning, so I was trying to lip read it all, !!!!!! Haha. I will watch it all again In the morning with sound on🙏🤣🤣🤣xxxxx
Thanks So much for sharing this. Really helpful. About to do our kitchen and was really interested in what you said about the larder unit. Would you tell me where you found it online. Thanks Eileen
Wow that looks amazing, happy new kitchen. Your hair is looking good too and Simon's is taking on a whole life of it's own in this vlog 😂 nice joint speaking parts too, love you guys. 😘
Congratulations, Emma! You've both done so well for yourselves! Everything is absolutely beautiful!!! When I can save enough money, I hope to incorporate several of your ideas! 💕
Hey guys do you know where you found the rack in the floor to ceiling cupboard ... I have literally the same thing getting fitted in the next few months
I was looking forward to this! I am so impressed with how great you guys made the kitchen look. And I loved the musical aspect of this very very much. 😂❤️
The kitchen is beautiful Emma and well worth the wait; it looks amazing. I was looking at that exact fridge freezer myself. I don't know why you've been told you can't have an induction hob because we too have the same drawer set up under our 'Induction' hob as you; our cutlery drawer is directly underneath, so there's no reason why you couldn't have had one, but nonetheless, it looks amazing x
Thanks for the video! I’m about to do a kitchen from scratch so this was helpful! One thing I was wondering about was the wooden door. Are you going to change it, paint it or keep it as is?
Looking lovely..just needs some tittivating and time to sort what and where things need to go. A tip for top of floating cupboards.. put newspaper or kitchen towel on top to collect the dust etc makes keeping them clean so much quicker and easier. Enjoy getting your home back to normality and have a good trip? Hope your house guests aren't to scared to use your beautiful kitchen. 😉😊❤
finally a relatable kitchen reno by influencers where the owners paid for it and is not sponsored (except for that matte items Emma mentioned). It looks lovely and practical, everything in its right place. 😍
Looks amazing! Old kitchen wasn’t too bad either, but this new one is fantastic!
Watched this with my hubby & now we both have serious kitchen envy!! 😂 Also very impressed with the black switches & plug sockets... how did I not know that was a thing?!
Also, Simon singing Final Countdown looking like he had just volunteered to test the electricity was amazing. 😂😂😂
Loved that bit as well! 😂
You guys! You did an amazing job!! Simon, you are THE MAN!!
It took me a while to get to this but since today it is -29 degreesF outside, I finally made it here!!
Great work being patient Emma! 😉👍🤗
I'm watching this with a huge smile on my face and its not even my kitchen lol Ah the vicarious life.

The disruption is always difficult but so worth it in the end.
Wow. Your new kitchen looks so beautiful and chic. I like the clean lines and minimalist aesthetic. I hope you enjoy it!!

WOOOOOWWWW it looks absolutely beautiful! So efficient & clean cut. Love the colour. Makes me want to redo my kitchen 😩
Simon singing at the end 🤣🤣 loving the USB power plug. And that fridge 🙏
Loved your old kitchen, but this one is amazing. You both have great taste. Well done x
Where is your black kitchen floor from? Is it tiles.
I am from germany so I wonder for what do u use the Hot boiled water?
ahhh not what we were told by the kitchen companies, although we were given so much wrong info so it doesn't surprise me 😂
Marta C boiling water is used for tea & coffee, it saves having a kettle
It’s gorgeous!! Definitely a good idea to have a breakfasting table. Job well done.
I absolutely LOVE the wooden door in the back that you said you were gonna paint. It’s a nice contrast and cool. Love the kitchen!

Thanks for the tip! 👍
What I did get was my dishwasher at knee height so no bending down 👍👍
It’s absolutely gorgeous. The colors and detail, spot on.
It’s always horrible going through it but really worth while.
Enjoy.
Congrats! Looks sleek and fabulous. And worth the dust 🙄 I’ll check out your blog as curious how you fitted in the fridge and why you had to swap the dishwasher for the bin.
Couldn’t find the blog. Maybe it’s not up yet.
No its not up yet, hopefully in the next couple of weeks. just ben a bit busy with travel. 👍
Gorgeous kitchen, congratulations! Simon, “Final countdown 🎶🎶”🤣🤣
Guys love the new kitchen
I have a similar sink- in case you are wondering, I use my narrow section just to air dry stuff. NO Dirty dishes in that space! Lol So for example - my dish washer does not dry lids very well so I’ll air dry them in that section
Hope that helps you 😍
Absolutely love the new kitchen it’s very you ! We did ours about 5 years ago and I was so excited to have the pull out larder cupboard 😄 Definitely worth all the dust - which will keep landing for a little while lol x
Yaaaay. I have Been counting down the days for this reveal!!
Love it
Wow guys it looks amazing. Love, love the grey & white! those counter tops are dreamy!!
Wooooow, literally one of best and practical kitchen renovations I’ve seen on TH-cam! I have major storage envy! Beautifully done!
Just discovered your channel and ‘I 🥰 love 💕 it’.......will be looking forward to watching some of your past videos and have ‘subscribed’ to catch all the future ones....🤗
Hi and welcome, I hope you enjoy the rest ❤️
Gorgeous!! Do you happen to remember the colour name/brand of your worktops from the supplier you mentioned?! We are just about to start a full extension & kitchen & trying to finalise stone. Bring on the dust! 🙈 X
It turned out beautiful! So happy for you guys. Enjoy! And have a great trip. 😊
TH-cam has been recommending this to me for days finally clicked and am not disappointed the old kitchen wasn't bad either
Your new kitchen looks so light & bright. Your color choices are so on point! Wow. Awesome 😎 job.
Very nice kitchen. I especially love the way that the oven door slides underneath the oven and out of the way
Oooohhhh the bake off oven, its my fave - even though I don't use it 😂🙈 Thats the husbands job 👍🏼🙊
few question:
1. what material you use for the cabinet door & its body?
2. your kitchen wall is a brickwall or dry wall?
MDF with laquered finish and brick wall. 👍🏼
it was so nice!
Love the Kitchen, can you tell us what flooring you used as it complements the units really well .
Wow what a difference,so modern and sleek,absolutely gorgeous 😍
In absolute awe of your new kitchen guys congrats, well done! It is all worth it in the end, dust fairies and all! And Emma, the new fridge freezer is a stunner among the cabinets! Could you tell me about the flooring, is it laminate and if yes which colour? 🤩👏💝
Antidepressant baker yes it’s laminate, I can’t remember the colour but I took a pic of the code on my Kitchen Reno insta Stories highlight 👍🏼
Just beautiful! I love everything you chose for your new kitchen and I’m glad you are so happy with the results.
i despise modern style deco and architecture but i have got to say that you guys have done a beautiful job . although you used a cold palette and you kept it rather simple it still feels welcoming and warm . congrats
It looks AMAZING!!! Can’t wait to see what you cook up first! Congrats!! Watched every single minute! Simons serenade 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks So much for sharing this. Really helpful. About to do our kitchen and was really interested in what you said about the larder unit. Would you tell me where you found it online. Thanks Eileen
I can't remember the name of the website but all the details should be listed in the description box 👍
@@simoncreasey4067 thanks
You have really use the space well in the kitchen. Looks very simple yet very effective. 👍👌😊
I was looking forward to this! I am so impressed with how great you guys made the kitchen look. And I loved the musical aspect of this very very much. 😂❤️
Wonderful end result! You made such beautiful & wise choices. Elegant simplicity! Worth the bother. Ours should be done in a month ! YEY !
May i know the colour code?? And the material?? I love sooooo much
The kitchen is beautiful Emma and well worth the wait; it looks amazing.
Gonegirl obviously wrong info 🤷🏼♀️
Hi Emma, a beautiful kitchen. Love the quartz worktop. What is it called please. Thank you ❤
If it’s not in the description box I can’t help I’m afraid as this was years ago and in our previous home. My memory just isn’t that reliable 🤣🙈
Great renovation! The kitchen looks great. I must ask, where do you keep your plates and bowls?
They go in the wall unit next to the oven, above the hob to the right 👍
Good on you for paying for this yourself, not resorting to scrounging for handouts like certain couples I could name! Looks great 👍🏼
bwahah soo true. constantly @-ing companies on twitter to give hints at a sponsorship.
tropicana oooow tell me who love a bit of goss x
@@dingdong211270 i don't want to be that person lol but clue, british and married recently haha
@@gurlbye9942 does her name starts with L maybe? btw I agree with all comments
leona paric not a clue. Do I get another clue😂
Where is the beautiful multi plant stand from please??
Love the new kitchen Emma very you! Xx
Bekki B it was from TK Maxx a while ago x
Well done it looks beautiful, would it be rude to ask how much it all cost?
We won't be giving exact details of the price as that's our personal finances but it was more than we thought a kitchen would cost 🙈
So beuatiful kitchen....but i dont know where u put all the cooking pan?😄
The Emma drawer is my favorite! I hate renovation projects also, but definitely love the end result.
Thanks for the video! I’m about to do a kitchen from scratch so this was helpful! One thing I was wondering about was the wooden door. Are you going to change it, paint it or keep it as is?
YEs paint the wooden door 👍
Looking lovely..just needs some tittivating and time to sort what and where things need to go. A tip for top of floating cupboards.. put newspaper or kitchen towel on top to collect the dust etc makes keeping them clean so much quicker and easier. Enjoy getting your home back to normality and have a good trip? Hope your house guests aren't to scared to use your beautiful kitchen. 😉😊❤
Lucy J haha yeh we’ve been told that already. It’s a great tip 🙌🏼
