Massive thanks for sharing the cost of your kitchen and breaking it down Into sections, where you bought Everything and the full cost . Awesome kitchen 👊
Thank you for this video and description. I’m currently planning my kitchen and I lost count how many times I went back to your video as I’m getting along with my design and deciding on appliances etc. 🙏🏻😀
Lovely finish - only thing I would change is having doors that are plain on the front so there is no ledge for dust and dirt to get stuck. Learnt that from experience in cleaning my own kitchen which has the same doors. Really like the handles you have used as they are also easier to clean while still looking nice. Functionality is as important as form.
really likeing the looks of the kitchen. Only thing im not a fan of are the two handle faucets. Having a one handle mixer unit is just so convenient in a kitchen where you might have dirty hands and want to open up the water.
Nick thank you so much for the breakdown of costs. It’s an amazing space for the price. Will you be doing another renovation soon ? Take care and love to the family x
@@NicksHomeRenovations don't worry I will! We extended and renovated 7 years ago and are moving to a new home and doing the same.Your videos are immensely helpful in gauging price, styles, and new suppliers (DIY kitchens for example)
hi nick kitchen really came out well, i wanted to know do you stick with the same brands for your appliances and stick with the same suppliers for various parts of your kitchens for example the appliances you seem to stick with bosch, the handles from handles4u the quartz worktops from mt stones ect, many thanks Paul
Good quality work. Love your bunglow project. I will get keys for my 2 bed bunglow in orpington next week. Can you please recommend anyone who can take full renovation project including extension?
@@Rockhard215 Sounds great, was it all done by a single builder? Or did you go with separate contractors? I will be in a similar situation next year... Do you have any recommendation?
Hi there Nick your kitchen work is is amazing I thinking of getting my L shaped kitchen redone could you recommend any kitchen fitter and appliance supply in barnet
These days around £40k for the structural work only I’m afraid for the ground floor extension - plus then kitting it out to your specifications on top of that. Nothing is cheap anymore!
Changing my mind a bit to be honest; but what did put me off was a large outlay initially when not always necessary as particularly in extensions they are very well insulated!
Can you stack two base or medium units to make a tall unit? Space is tight and the tall one they supply might not fit through my door. I can't see why not in theory, do you think being inframe might effect it?
Thanks so much for these videos and costings Nick. We are in the process of buying a bungalow that needs everything doing to it…new central heating, kitchen, bathroom and no doubt some rewiring. Just to have a realistic idea of what the costs might be is very helpful.

Hi Nick, Very good content. I’ve subbed. Just came across your channel this morning. I wanted to ask where is the best place to buy a few kitchen items: 1) A good quality kitchen tap (not crap); 2) Built under electric double oven (largest possible volumes and good brand); 3) Good quality gas hob? I’m currently doing a mini kitchen uplift - but still want really good quality appliances but at good prices - some places are rip off. Does anyone recommend a good tap brand ? Blanco? Or Grohe? Or Franke? So many models. Don’t want a boiling water tap, just needs to be Upto £350.
Hey Nick, I’m just designing our kitchen with DIY at the moment…can you tell me…is that an integrated fridge/freezer over in the corner next to your oven? 🙏 great, informative video that’s given me loads to think about, especially alternative counter suppliers and handle suppliers etc etc. Cheers.
Hi Nick - can you tell me what colour/brand quartz worktop you used? I cannot tell the colour from the video and I was not able to find any reference to the name in the description or comments. I see many white variations on the MT Stones website. Thanks for your help and great choices!
@@NicksHomeRenovations Thanks - most helpful as there are so many close varieties of white so useful for my sample order. Thanks again for replying and so quickly.
Not a very good job on the kitchen fitting, your end panels should finish flush with the doors and the plinth should be scribed around your skirting also you have a brick bond pattern on your flooring which is a No No

Amazing! Great Job!
Beautiful kitchen, thanks for the helpful info
I'd want much bigger handles on the fridge/freezer! Amazing job. So pleased you didn't have dark worktops, can't stand that!
Thank you
Please can you do a view on how the doors from DIY kitchens close? These doors didn’t sound very ‘soft’
Nick, you might have covered this in another video but what brand of bi-fold doors are they on the back? Cheers.
Hi, love the transformation. Can i ask which underlay you used for the flooring? We are having our laminate put in soon on ground floor

What's the dimension of the kitchen area please (not utility room)?
Around 4 metres

I am in a similar situation, did you go for full renovation?
@anilerkol yes, I converted my 2 bedroom bungalow to 5 bedroom & 3 bathroom. I did extension and loft conversion as well.

Why did you not get DIY kitchen knobs ?
Hi. How much for the bifold - material and fitting please. It all looks fab! 👏🏻👏🏻
If you get cabinets from DIY kitchens and get a good fitter

Thank you - sorry I don’t know anyone who works that in that area
Hi Nick, how much was the extension if you dont mind me asking ? were looking at doing something similar

Nice job, Where can I buy sheets panels of high gloss white finish, I got to make 2 cabinmates around the side of a toilet
Thank you. Try a builders merchant like Selco.
@@NicksHomeRenovations I have zero luck
Where did you source your carpenter and what is the typical day rate?
Through a recommendation of a friend. Around £250-£300 a day
Wonderfully detailed video! Very handy. Can I ask why you aren’t fond of underfloor heating for open kitchen/ dining area?
Changing my mind a bit to be honest; but what did put me off was a large outlay initially when not always necessary as particularly in extensions they are very well insulated!
I use to work for a utility company and customers with underfloor heating would always have very expensive electricity bills.
