That looked pretty freaking cool. On a sidenote though…. was I the only one freaked out by how freakishly angry the goomba’s faces looked. Not horribly angry, but so angry in the degree that their faces looked that I literally would not want to be standing in front of one of them while they weren’t even attacking me looking at how angry their faces looked. 😂

All Nintendo can do is bitch constantly to keep it from happening, they will never get compensation out of it. Well done! Wasn't sure about the 3D perspectives at first, but by keeping true to the 2D world playfield, and remaining faithful to the level layouts, you've created something familiar yet altogether different, and I would LOVE to play it. Chris Pratt is the icing on the bizarro cake.
In an alternate universe the 1993movie was a massive success and the 2023 movie was a straight remake of it and this was the video tie in to the movie.
Wow, how delightfully nostalgic and, at the same time, surrealistic! It almost looks like as if Mario has realized that he is now a character in a game and can choose to move in three dimensions while everyone else follows two-dimensional pathways. This makes for great and interesting gameplay with the possibility for new game mechanics and fantastic cheats.... superior work, mate! 😀
This is awesome and I think amazing, but you can tell they didn't have the fire flower programmed in because he took intentional damage anytime he came to a power up block. Really wanted to see some fireballs flying

Replace Chris Pratt with Chris Chan and replace Princess Peach with his mom. Then have him go down a pipe and come out into a Sonic Game. Billion dollar idea!
It is just a platformer. Download unity engine, download assets, put them on scene, use preprogrammed movements for basic platformer, download and use sounds from main game... didnt get where u see that studio :D But if he created all models in Blender for example, then nice one. But it is like when you see someone bake pizza at home and u instantly say "this guy need open restaurant O_o " :D

I personally like the style that is in Mario odyssey, it's got a combination of realism in the environments and yet a still overall cartoony atmosphere with the design of Mario and the enemies.

This is crazy sauce! I haven't used Unreal. But I've tinkered with Unity, more prone to using Construct 3 really. It's free and great for easy game creation. Pretty impressive you were able to accomplish this in three months not knowing anything about game development.

Congratulations on the work, it's amazing. I advise making an animation for the character to slide on the pole at the end of the level. I also advise improving the death animations of enemies (Koopas) and making them knock down other enemies when thrown like in the original.
This looks so good to me. I think the camera should be static "Run to Right" by default, but for sequences like a boss encounter or that area with the flame spinners, the camera should swing behind for third person. Maybe also could use a free camera on demand option to look around, or even for some hidden things. I love this though. I played the original when I was a child and I never thought I would see even this much of the game like this. I am fulfilled. Great job.

It would be awesome to see a Mario Game like this. Maybe to add some more moves like a bottom kick to get rid of small enemies. And don't forget the fire Plant, the fly suit :D Keep going !
