It is cute until you realize that each small grid block is 40 cm in height making your WALL-E 120 cm and chances are that little guy weighs at least a 100 kg meaning it could easily steam roll you
@@revengeneutral8164 Correction: the edge length of a small grid cube is 50 cm, making the volume 125,000 cm³ The area of one side of the cube is 2500 cm²
I built something like this as a mobile cargo pod, but with wheels and less finesse.... so much so that it got too far from me, accelerated to full speed and ploughed into me killing me and destroying it.
So I have been woring on something like this, but have had no luck. I want a robot that will fallow me around the shop while I build. I could use someone to hold a light and inform me of the time. How did you do thi?! 😆
Ok first of all this is NOT my design. The original owner abandoned the blueprint as well as steam altogether so I can't even give him credit. Second, from what I've discovered it used sensors to detect when a player is within range and when the player moves away from a certain distance the rotors turn to face the direction of the player and move toward them. Third, you might not need to worry about a robotic follower for much longer if Keen's AI Grid Update is on par with what we want.
Everyone needs a friend even if its a robot
New Boston Dynamics robot is looking good
how can you not love that

Correction: one small block is 50cm squared. A large block is 2.5m and is the same size as 5x5 small blocks.
Thank you for pointing that out Richard
@@rickybeeSE Correction: One small block is 50cm cubed.

Now strap some guns on it
He will get atomized
Sadly… also how does he walk?
Hi, I'm mostly into building military stuff (tanks, etc.). Maybe wanna collab on a small infantry support robot?
Sure I'd be down to help out designing a war bot. Tho I'll admit my programming knowledge is non-existent so keep that in mind
Mine as well xD
Wait THATS SUS
Can you make blueprint please ?

Why not just put wheels?
SImple reason. They take up more space since they have an axle.
