Kwang-Ho is the best Thuy I have ever seen! Despite times I cannot understand a few of his words since English is not his first language, he was the most enigmatic actor to play Thuy!! He was BRAVO! I think it will be hard to find a better actor to play Thuy!
i was told by a cast member of miss saigon that kwang ho learned his lines phonetically, because he did not speak english. he did not even sound like he did not understand the lines he was delivering. impressive!
I saw the show this week,he was the best male vocalist on the stage by far and he is great to watch.He totally outclassed the other men. Get a ticket to see him while you can.Bravo Kwang Ho.
Just saw the 25th anniversary last weekend. And might I say he made me see Thuy in a completely different light. He's conflicted emotions just showed in his face and it was simply a marvel to watch. Dare I say the best Thuy out there.

I agree. Hong Kwang Ho is the best Thuy ever. He gave Thuy a really human, cruel and conflicted, yes, but human flavor to the character. Excellent singer and actor!

Thuy was written as an unlikeable character... But Kwang-Ho made me feel sorry for Thuy... I almost wanted Kim to choose him until I realized how unhealthy that would have been.

I fell in love with Thuy...handsome and that voice is to die for..but his is Miss Saigon and I am supposed to dislike him...Does he have Korean dramas under his belt? I better search...

this is the Thuy that swayed me. Kwang-Ho gave so much heart and hurt for Thuy that I found myself rooting for him in the play.

I love him! His Thuy is very three dimensional and sympathetic. When I first heard him I thought he would make an awesome phantom. Glad he got to do that.

His voice and characterisation were both fantastic. Shame the thickness of his accent may distract from his performance at times - I'm not sure (if I didn't already know the words) if I'd be able to tell what he was singing at points. Nevertheless, a true talent. Shame he's not in London anymore!

I was a little disappointed when I found out that Kwang-Ho didn't play Thuy in the performance I booked when I flew to see the revival of Miss Saigon :( However, Christian was amazing.
I’ve been around enough Vietnamese people to know that there are No Vietnamese boys named Thuy. That is strictly a female name. Case in point Thuy Trang, May she rest in peace.

I'm calling out Cameron Mackintosh when he says at the beginning of this video that they need to look across the world for a cast to tell the tale authentically when all the characters in his other shows are not race restricted. We've had a black Phantom and Christine, Filipino Fantine and Eponine and Iranian Valjean to name just a few ethnically diverse castings. Is there a necessity that half the cast of miss Saigon are Southeast Asia?
