This is an amazing video!!! Wish I had it 3 years ago when I moved to Kyrgyzstan!!! Can you make a video about meeting In-Laws (of have you?) My fiance's family only speaks Russian and we speak with translator but they love me and I want to speak more to them!
Met my Kyrgyz wife in 2004 when I was deployed in the Air Force. We have traveled back four times since usually staying for a couple months at a time. My Russian was good enough to get by but not the best for in-depth conversations. This channel is a lot of fun and can’t wait to share it with my daughter!
One of the most interesting things about you is that you got right into the point , without any hustle or bunch of bla bla as what some pple dose, spasiba my friend keep the good work 💪🏼
With every word I’ve learned every time I recall it I hear your voice saying the word or praise and that’s how I remember it. You’re a great teacher 👨🏫
Thank you brother. I have been wanting to learn Russian for a long time. But it was really hard to get a grip on it in any way. Mostly because to busy. Allso finding a good teacher. I have watched a few of you videos. Just what I need. Your way works well for my sort of brain.so again thank you
Thank you as an aspiring astronaught/cosmonaught.... if I ever get the privilege and even courage to travel into space, then I hope my russian is even half as good as you are a teacher. I have used your videos for years. Thank you. ❤❤❤
To me, serbian (also slavic language) speaker it is easier to understan russian in writing than in speaking mostly because letter O is sometimes pronounced as A sometimes as O. In serbian O is always only O, no confusion. Also, russion questions are confusing to understand unless they start with можно.
Hi,im an english teacher and im studing russian right now,i like your postcards and they have been useful for me but i would like you to use the "shadowing" sistem in your teaching (at least in some videos") this method is good for learning english and i think itvis going to be useful for learning russian (i would like to try it to improve my russian)thanks
Without translation i knew what you were saying. I can finally read russian totally. I still have trouble speaking in real life with real people. Because they use words sometimes i don't know the meaning of them. But i'm glad i know the basics now.
Thank you. Love how concisive straightforward to the narrowing of the word or phrase. your style of teaching it is. So easy to digest, gets the learn to processes quicker. Very unique technique of teaching. You are really good teacher. Thank you for your time to share with us ways of constricting the understanding; still being understood, simplicity to learn quick shortened time as possible. Thanks a million. ( LOVE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE ).❤♟
I agree totally. Russian can not be taught like a typical language. The language does not match the letters so one has to listen to the phrase that this great teacher teaches then associate it with the Russian letters, and then you know what it sounds like, what it means, the way the letters generally look, then last learn how to spell it exactly. But if you are a mere man then just take one look at the average young Ukrainian woman or young Russian woman then all of a sudden you will have inspiration! I can't speak for the ladies since I am what is known as an antiquated straight male but that is just the way life is. In short, I will be back; and now he knows he has become my teacher! So if I can learn Russian at an advanced age then you have no excuse.
0:33 I was totally shocked when I heard the word for restroom in Russian which is туалет because it's the same in my country the pronunciation is the same 100% * I speak Algerian Arabic btw 🇩🇿 5:25 Also in here the same thing , in Algeria we say "chhal suma" [ ch-hal soo-ma ]
