I installed mine yesterday and didn't pull the bed-liner, now I know why my tailgate was so hard to shut haha. Thanks for the video, wish I had seen this yesterday
Getting rid of that bedliner is a good idea. Look at the mess it made of your truck. That cover looks really good and at a budget friendly price. In my experience, these type of covers do a better job of keeping the bed dry than the tri fold or heavy roll ups with drain systems.
LOL... At the beginning of your vid, I did the same with my ford drop in plastic liner, to wash/clean the bed as the PO didn't wash the bed before installing the liner. I then put on a Tyger soft roll up tonneau cover on my truck on 9/25/21
I bought this tonneau cover about 2 months ago and I have liked it so far. No leaks or anything that I have found. The only issue I have found is the clamps closer to the tailgate do not seem to keep tight. I had some issues with the track falling down and I have had to put the clamps back on again.
@@ABrianLewisVlog This is my issues as well. All of my clamps stay except the ones closes to the tailgate. No matter how much I tighten them down...they pop loose.
Do your clamps fall off when you snap the cover? Mine seem to always do closest to the tailgate. Also, I've owned mine for about 3 months and keep an eye on the weather seal. Mine started to warp and I had to peel it off my rail and realign it.
It was only when I went to snap it in, the rail would slide down and latching the cover would not work. I believe it is because I have a spray in bedliner why the rails always slide down by the tailgate.
I got mine in. Set up way it should. But I have to shut my tail gate hard for it to latch. When it does it looks like the tail gate isn’t flush with the bed. Driving me crazy lol
A Brian Lewis Vlog I have 14 f150 same cover save issue...close tailgate with cover open and then latch cover down I just discovered it via TH-cam looking for tension how to. Tried it and it worked
You didn't show how the clamps engaged. I have an F-150 and there seems to be nothing on the rail to clamp to. Less of the talking and speed video and more of the details.
you don't need to remove the liner. Or drill into shit. It literally goes in with just the 6 total clamps and done. If it doesn't line up send it back. Doesn't line up again the issue is your truck bed
A Brian Lewis Vlog Might be terrible but at least I'm not doing 3x the work and having people drill into things creating a spot where now it'll potentially rust.
A Brian Lewis Vlog "Pretty sure this plastic bediners is gonna have to come out so thee tonneau cover it self can mount in so we're gonna do that now." Says the big guy form the start... But that apparently wasn't said.
Just bought my second Gator. Thanks for the video. I think they are great.
Thanks for watching!

Yeah we wasn’t 100% sure if the bedliner would matter or not but he wanted to get rid of his anyways. Thanks for watching!

Our thoughts exactly

thanks for the info. We haven't had any issues with this one yet. So far so good.

A M that’s wild he’s had zero issues with things coming loose
Have you tried lock tigth. That might work.
I purchased one. Going to take a while to get here due to this virus situation. I hope it turns out worth it!
Michael you will love it
I ordered one of these Thursday and it came on Sunday

Do you guys get any seepage? I seem to get it in the corners. Not a lot. But it’s there. Wondering if anyone has same issue.
He said he’s gotten a little bit back by the tailgate. Its been very minimal. He was expecting more honestly.

@@michaelblaze yeah that would drive me nuts too

Is the tonneau unable to be opened for security if tailgate locked?
Correct the tailgate has to be open to access the latched to release the tonneau cover.
don't have this but am very interested in purchasing ...
It’s definitely worth the money.
Do you still like it after 1 year?
Absolutely we have a 1 year review video make sure you check it out!
Interested in this emblem painting, cheyenne's fusion is pretty much faded to all chrome.
We’re gonna color match and two tone with black
is that ok to install this tonneau cover with Penda liners? (F150, 5’5)
yes just make sure you choose the 5'5 option. We didn't have to take the liner out he just wanted to.
A Brian Lewis Vlog and do we need to cut out two corners when we install the cover?
I wouldn’t think so
Thank u very much!!!!
First how to video that made me more confused. Doesnt actually show any of the key points and im glad i read the comments re:bedliner. 👎

Moza your couch is awesome

A Brian Lewis Vlog Sorry. Corrodes. As aluminum doesn't rust.
We even said you do not have to take your bed liner out.
