I bought an hdmi gana 3 port splitter/switcher on amazon, and im not sure if it is used for what i want it to do. I want to use it for a triple monitor setup, so i initially thought i can connect it to my pc and then connect the 3 hdmi cables to that, but now im having second thoughts. Can you verify that it will or will not work? Plz !
@@hdtvsupplyinc I got a splitter to run dual monitors and it did show the same screen. What would someone use this for? I can only think of showing sports in bars and stuff
can i use or connect the HDMI Splitter to make the Coaches on the technical area to view the video on the tablet while i am capturing it with a 4k digital camera or a drone camera ?
Is it possible to send the audio signal to one output and the video signal to another output? What would happen if I connect one output to a dvd player and another to a TV?
can you use a splitter to make an extended monitor? So essentially the same picture from different angles or do you need two Bluetooth outputs for that too?
Could I use a splitter to send the auto to one device and the video to another? AKA a projector and a Atmos receiver, I ran out of HDMI ports on my Vid card and don't want to use optical.
I am trying to connect 6 external monitors to my laptop. I am using DVI-D dual-link to HDMI cable to connect the monitors to the HDMI splitter and HDMI to HDMI to connect the splitter to the laptop. There is just one problem, when I am extending the screens the external monitors seem to duplicate themselves rather than extend. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
That is what the splitter will do, you would need to use an output for each display if you want to see different content on each monitor. There is also products like this www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/th2go/digital/ but I have never used them
OK, Tech stuff really confusing to me personally as this stuff looks like it would take me the rest of my life ??. So here goes I have DirecTV with a 1 by 4 way HDMI splitter I want to hook up my PS3 Xbox 1s and my Nintendo all into this splitter. The input comes from.... the back of my 60 in Samsung TV or from my DirecTV box ...then the outputs ALL to ......
Sound like you need an 5 port HDMI switch, you would connect your DirecTV, PS3, Xbox 1s and Nintendo into the input side of the switch and them output it to your 60" Samsung TV, you wold then select the source you wanted to show on your TV- something like this www.hdtvsupply.com/5-1-hdmi-switch.html
This unit takes one source and splits the same picture out to 4 TVs, if you looking to take 4 sources and show on one TV you would need a multiviewer such as www.hdtvsupply.com/4x1-quad-multiviewer.html
Hello I just ordered and received a hdmi splitter and plugged amazon firestick into the input and outputed to 1 50inch lcd and 2 73inch dlp but I'm only recieving a picture on the 50 inch am I doing something wrong?

I have a gaming PC and I want to use one monitor for playing the second monitor for watching my stream and the third monitor for fixing settings during my stream am I able to use this on a gaming PC and have three different things going in three different monitors so basically something different in each monitor?
Could you use this to send audio from a tv to a sound bar and av receiver for in ceiling speakers at the same time?
Now I know I can use a splitter to split a signal. Thanks.
Does this also work if I connect my Playstation with a moniter and a soundbar?

With a splitter it will only show the same picture on the monitors, you would need a video card with 3 outputs or use something like USB to HDMI

Hello this is a splitter one source to multiple TVs. The DVD has and output so that wouldn’t work
Now that's badass!
Thanks for the tutorial

Not typically I use Xbox’s and PS4 to test our products all the time and do not notice any lag

Yes a splitter would be a good choice for what you are wanting to do.

Is there a way to have it switch like to only tv 1, then only tv 2, then all?
You need HDMI "switcher" not HDMI "splitter". You can get a switcher for $3 or $4 dollar on ebay.
i dont get it why some saying we need to for mobile game streaming since we can connect directly type c to hdmi to elgato?
If you can plug in directly than yes you wouldn't need a splitter.

you need a docking station, not a splitter ... sorry for being 2yrs late 😂

Hi, yes you could use this with an ipad
Will this diminish the audio content like dolby atmos ?
As long as the splitter support atmos you should be good to go
