Can you guys do a video on the Riot model armored hummvee in the background during the day so we could really see how awesome it is? Maybe drive it around or something
We will do a video on the next group that are coming up. That particular model was going out for a Duramax swap so we did what we could even though it was 11:30pm and raining outside. Thanks for the feedback - Happy Holidays

I’ve been thinking of buying a beat up old humvee and ripping out the stock engine and jamming in a Cummins turbo diesel in with a new power train but i don’t know the specs on it.
@@planbsupply9318 that's awesome. Also... does the 12v swap leave room to center the front differential? (I love the idea of a single half-shaft replacement part for all 4 corners and less shaft angle on the front left too.)
I have a 1995 HumV it’s the civilian model 12volts, I’m highly interested in dropping in a 6 cylinder Cummins engine in it any advice will be welcome, thanks
The 12 Valve is a long engine and using the Allison helps to complicate things even more. You’ll need to lift the body 3” or so (we have a kit) and then depending on your dash/doghouse area you’ll need to make some clearance adjustments. It’s a learning process for sure. Lots of little things need to be addressed to make it work properly.
We’ve got a production facility in Willard. If you’d like to swing by - give us a call. We don’t have a showroom as 99% of our customers order remotely from places like California, Texas and Florida. We’d be happy to tour your around though. Please make arrangements as it is an active production environment.
I noticed in the cab, the center console that normally separates driver and passenger is really low to the ground compared a normal h1, did you modify the cab after installing the new engine? Can this be done to any h1 after replacing the engine to a v12?
This is legit what I was thinking of doing this morning, that’s my dream build, any chance of a price point on a build like this? For future reference?
It’s on their website it’s nearly 50 grand. I’ve been looking at doing it myself, predator sells motors mounts and trans mounts, CA Conversions can do the Allison but you’d 10-16k depending on if you have a trans already or get one from them. You could reuse the 4l80 too. Reman Cummins ain’t cheap anymore and low mileage donors hard to find.
@@planbsupply9318 hell yeah that's what I'm talking about. Need that range for long travels especially remotely. I thought your initial estimate was super low because my ram 2500 gets 19mpg hand calculated mixed driving. Definitely want the cummins over the duramax for alot of reasons.
I wouldn't trust the work of this company. We bought one of their hmmwv's a couple years ago from the guy who bought it from them and it was very shoddy work. They bed-lined over everything inside and in the engine bay - even things that shouldn't be painted. The roof rack is extremely poorly designed. The custom aluminum hard top leaks at the seam between the front cab piece and the rear. Very half-assed work.

I had the sales slip for the rig, so I know what they charged for, and that it was crap work.
Ok the Cummings is the choice vs emp attack. But why a 6 cilinder instead of a V8? The six is longer as they said. But I think a V8 Cummins diesel would be shorter and might fit even better. I would be very interested in seeing if the Cummins V8 would be better fit and work better in a hummer. But I would never choose a gas engine for a military hummer for civilian a daily driver choice. The best of both. This is awesome. I’d daily tf outta this beast.

Curious on the MPG on that now. it's such a light body.
If I told you the truth, you’d think I was lying… it’s THAT drastic. Let’s just say it’s over 20mpg in all of our testing.
Just tell us!!! What kinda power is it tuned to? What mpg do your Duramax conversions get?
I am assuming that none of the conversions have all the emissions controls that modern diesels have, right?
