    This is great advice! Do you have time for a 1 on 1 coaching session or at least a consultation?

    Hey man, you’ve been very helpful and encouraging in my persuit to break into tech sales. Quick question: I have one year out of high school and decided to not go to college, do you think I should include my highschool overview in the education section of my resume and Linkedin profile?

    • @techsales-higherlevels
      @techsales-higherlevels  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can definitely mention it, especially if you were involved in clubs or other organizations. That said, if you have working experience I would put the emphasis there. Have you already started applying?

      @@techsales-higherlevels Oh good, thanks; I was involved a lot and often was academically ackowledged. However, I have not started applying. My thought was to start builiding a strong resume/Linkedin while developing more skills in preperation for an interview and job. Do you think I should go a head and start applying for internships or a job without any direct expierence in the field? Or would it be wiser to wait on that in the name of making myself more valuable?

      @@williamtorres2461 I would start applying to low priority targets so you get feedback in a real interview situation. Keep studying but start getting yourself out there. You'll learn a lot faster through rejection and quick iteration

      @@techsales-higherlevels Understood-this makes sense. I’ll start applying to the companies that wouldn’t hurt me if they reject me

      @@williamtorres2461 get used to it, ideally you'll get to the point where rejection won't phase you at all. Parr of the job hunt and part of a career in sales
