This is a good information. But most of us use the USB type C slot on the BMPCC for the external harddisk. How would the raven eye work?

You can still do that but then you can't start and stop the camera from the ROnin S2

I find that when I connect the mini HDMI to HDMI connected from raven eye and the Black Magic 6K Pro, it’s pretty tight.. hmm

Hi do you confirm me that usb c input camera is in use with rabeneye? In this situation isn't possible to use BMPCC with external disc. Very interesting tutorial. Tks

You can use an external disk and RAveneye at the same time but when you do that you cannot stop and start recording from the gimbal button, you have to stop and start recording from the camera. If you don't use an external disk on the camera then you can start and stop recording from the gimbal. Also if you have a Video assist monitor, you can plug the external disk there instead.
