Not sure why you abandoned the jab... or rather, failed to establish it AT ALL. You let him move and stop at will... every time he tried to stop, he should have been met with a jab... which he eats every time, or keeps his gloves up and moves slower towards you, letting you maintain the right range to do this fight at
all match long should have been Block Low, Slip High. A right lead is fine coming off a slipped punch... but not from just out of no where or from too close up! Jab? Yes, please. Block low, jab into a combo... slip high, right cross into body work

his jabs were failing him because he would want too jab on the inside, so when he would hit with a jab they were always weak so it wouldnt amount too much. another thing casual fighting fans dont realize is that when using a fighter there are difficulties on using that fighter depending on they're style of fighting. and if you as a player dont understand they're style of fighting then it just makes it that much harder for you to use them correctly. for example he was using Ali but he would use ali too fight on the inside in the middle of the ring bad idea. originally Ali is not an inside fighter but if your opponent is putting the pressure to get you into the pocket the ropes on Ali's back is where you would want too do it. another mistake he would get on the inside but he threw zero uppercuts lol. overall tyson furry is a bad matchup for Ali. but if you're really good at setting up the overhand right and also master you're distance it would be a much easier fight.

What I hated in Fight Night was the AI's unability to manage its stamina even in the hardest difficulty. It seems that the problem hasn't been solved on this one. I really hope they fix that.
you can solve it by yourself increasing boxer’s stamina in settings, beating Ali on GOAT difficulty was quite a challenge
Inability.
2 ways to fix it. 1. Either use sliders to increase your stamina 2. do a lot of work to the body. I would say the biggest issue was the unrealistic output and random throwing which can somewhat be fixed the same way.
Agreed. Ali is gassed if you throw a 3 punch combination which is so unrealistic
This was so fun just to watch and I love how they gave Ali his original gloves. I will definitely buy this game. It’s funny when people put a game and content and they have it on easy lol. So thanks for making this challenging for yourself.

The best way to use Ali is to keep the jab working constantly. He has the stamina and it will win you nearly every fight. He has a great haymaker right straight also. Against Fury, the left uppercut to the body after he throws a right and that jab are where it is at. Throwing a few good right straights to keep him honest is also necessary.

What amazed me the most is how Furys cpu acted when he had you hurt. His movement, aggressiveness, & punch selection looked exactly like real life Fury. I'll be patiently waiting for the ps5 release

Wow I had no idea about this game even being on the horizon! Now I’m super pumped for this! I used to love fight night and still bust it out from time to time.
Same here plus its pretty cheap picked it up for $23 on cdkeys.
As a x fight night champion player, I was very disappointed in this game. The mechanics are so bad that it ruined it for me. Waisted my money for sure

@@theoutdoorsman9726 The mechanics are stiff. There are small details to the mechanics that make it unplayable for me. Also the punches are all wrong. In real life the jab is the most important punch but on this game it’s all about the hooks. People spam the hook online because it reaches further then a jab and a strait. Lol

That was one of the more compelling exhibitions I've seen for a while. It didn't look to me like the best gameplay but the enthusiasm was intriguing, I had to watch till the end. The right hand lead was very effective, especially in the later rounds. A Fury v Usyk would be very interesting to see.

The punches feel a million times better than the early access beta or whatever they called it. You literally couldn't pop a solid Jab cross. It felt like the cross had worse reach than the jab. Now it feels solid! Just a but smoother overall between punching animation and we're golden.
The Ali loose movement jab, jab, cross feels fucking amazing.
We also need better critical damages, there’s no Sense of danger compared to fight night.

Your supposed to have that 1-2 style with Ali while keeping your distance. You're using Ali like an inside fighter. Good vid though.
I was frustrated watching this. He was even talking about lead hook but not throwing jabs. The game is looking good though.

Great Job Ricky! I think you had the most success when you were throwing your punches in fast combos. I think mixing up your combos with body and head shots would help a lot too. Either way I love watching all your videos and I always learn a ton from them too. Keep up the good work brother!

I think the movement in the fighters still looks a bit too 'abrupt' and I think I wanna wait until I see this game fully developing before paying for any Beta. We have seen so many boxing games come and go... Fight Night on Xbox 360 was about as good as it gets. Fight Night on iphone wasn't bad either, but Real Boxing is a sham. TBH the movement in this game feels like it needs to be dramatically improved
Ik this game is in early access, but it would be cool if there was a dlc where they just added fighters all the way back to John L. Sullivan

Idk if you had a chance to look at character stats and abilities, but I'm pretty sure Ali's juice is his uppercuts. Also to clinch its R3 (press the right analog stick as a button) and to Slip its L3.

Fury would be exhausted throwing that much lol. The most ANY heavyweight has thrown in a fight is 975(the average is about 330/450-600 punches per 12 rounds, about 23-37 punches per round) Also wheres the quick faints, the on your toes faints, the snap in and out faints, that Fury does? the faint jab? like his arm will be down, he'll bob, then unpredictable jab out of nowhere, the sidestepping circle jabs? the head bobbing? Tell you what both UFC and Boxing games, devs have got a long way to go to make it actually realistic. IF thats their goal. He threw about 30 punches against Wilder in real life in the first round(about 23 in the second), Tyson just threw 90 in the first round, lol. So although i appreciate that they are trying to go for LOOKING realistic aesthetically. Theyve still got a long way to go, to make the bouncing on the feet, the momentum, the fainting, the unpredictable unorthodox strange nature of Fury, the mid round hands up taunting, be a reality in a game form. I dont think any fighting game has true got movement, real natural human movement correct.
Just a sidenote, first game youve played and you are playing on the hardest difficulty and winning? So they need to sort the Ai out also then. It should of been tougher than that lol.
That was the same irritation I had with the Fight Night games. Your opponent would throw a ridiculous amount of punches every round, with a huge amount of them being power shots, yet still somehow have more stamina than me popping out jabs and occasional right crosses. I enjoyed playing Fight Night and trying to outbox my opponent with jabs, strategic power punches and movement, but a lot of the time it just seemed like I was fighting a losing battle against someone swinging for the fences over 12 rounds. If Undisputed can balance it more in that regard I would buy it in a heartbeat. Then again, I'm probably going to buy it anyway as I have wanted a boxing game on PC in forever!!!!

THEY GAVE ALI AND MARCIANO OLD SCHOOL GLOVES! Fight Night always gave Ali the modern ones and it just didnt make sense. I hope we get these as an option in career mode

It's just realistic boxing🤦♂️ You don't win cause of more shots landed haha, you gain points by making your opponent miss, having a higher % of punches landed etc, like actual boxing, not fight night champion 😂😂
Animations and the AI look terrible I can’t believe anybody would play this over fight night champion.. game is 12+ years old and 100x better
Tbh it’s damage punches and making clean open strikes fight night champion is better but on the hardest level they block and look for counter shots alot of running

I've only had a couple of matches but, for example, I don't understand why my stamina, the gray bar, drops so much each round while my opponent's always stays high!

La stamina è buttata a casaccio,spesso la grafica rallenta e ti fa volare i colpi a caso.
I colpi al corpo poi risultano efficaci per le IR mentre per il giocatore sono poco efficaci,ho fatto match dove colpivo più io dell'avversario e il giudizio dei giudici era inspiegabilmente a favore di chi subiva.
Spero e ne sono quasi certo,che venga migliorato,perché così è poco appagante.

Thanks for this update and vid. I was so excited for a next-gen boxing game. Loved FNC. It looked really bad couple months ago on my last look: simply, the boxing looked slow and silly. What an improvement! Excited again, now I see the D, counter-punching, and the “snap” on the punches.

They’re adding more punches too so we’re gonna get the moving punches soon. Maybe AI throws a little less punches but more accurate on Undisputed mode too
A.I is shocking for the hardest mode the amount of punches thrown nowhere near the opponent makes it look stupid an unrealistic

Everytime you got his stamina down enough to do damage, you backed off bro. Fairplay for a first fight. You should play career mode. 👍🏼
Would be nice if the characters wen so solid when being hit. As fighters take damage and lose stamina punches begin to show and look to cause more damage. If they are looking for realism that feature needs to be added. Would nice if some effect or glow was added to gloves/punches when they connect so that it's more clear to see where the punches are hitting and what parts are being targeted. Also make the blows louder.
I also noticed Ali was waving in the whole ways as though there was a crowd during his ring entrance.
Entrances will probably be tweaked and added in full release of game

So disrespectful to rate Fury even with Ali. Fury is a 90 at best. 94?? Y'all don't know shite about boxing. Fury should not be rated higher than Louis, Marciano, Frazier, Holme's, Bowe or Klitchko. Look at their accomplishments.

Blocking high and low does work off the right trigger, hold right trigger for high block and right trigger + up on right analog or left bumper for low block

The AI looks really bad. Fury constantly throwing punches that literally have zero chance of landing. Hopefully they'll fix that with a patch or something.
Ali and Robinson should be at least 3 points higher than the next closest person. This is very annoying. Fury has literally done nothing...he beat Wilder. Who beat NOBODY!!! Esports needs to fix this. Or I'll tell Leila to pull Ali. And she will I talked to her about the contract. If the family feels Ali is misrepresented, they can demand he be removed.

You were running away on the championship rounds but Fury almost snatched victory from the jaws of defeat with that last KD, good job surviving the last round, I wasn't sure the judges were gonna go your way.

Im liking what i see so far from this game. The only thing im kind of disappointed in is the presentation. I understand this a smaller studio working with limited man power/resources I just wish they'll be able to add some theatrics to the fights, make them seem like actual events.

Wow Tyson fury has like cheat stamina for a big boi. Ali was getting chunks taken from his stamina per punch, brutal fright. Definitely had to utilize Ali's hit and run tactics to survive.
