EA is just missing a huge opportunity of releasing Fight Night Round 5 for the SX and PS5 WITH crossplay enabled they will make so much on Fight Night like all the other fight night games that release before that it will change their reputation from being a toxic liberal politics feminism bias money hungry company to a great company that once were in the OG Xbox era.

Just a tip from a casual player: set up your body shots with a jab, actually set up everything with a jab, even if they block it your chances of landing a shot later in the combo increase substantially after the jab. Just make sure he doesn't start slipping it.

You're thinking about fight night round 3 my friend. There really wasn't a parry-counter punch in Round 4 or Champion. But those 2 games did improve on weave-counter and side step counter
We definitely need a new fight night or even just a remastered version. These games are the best! And I love how people still online playing the game haha. Thats awesome.
I miss this game so so much. I played it religiously. Neither guy was all that in this video honestly. My landed punch percentage is never lower than 54%. But that online lag fucks me up everytime. I have several different fight strategies that I can implement at any moment in any round, I do use up a bit of stamina in the first 3 rounds because my punch output is always kinda high, but I don't miss much without lag so it works for me... Fuck them up for the first 3 to 4 rounds, then play next to perfect defense for the rest of the fight (I won't throw back sometimes, even if I'm sure I can land it) If I can't do enough damage the first 2 rounds then I pull them into deep waters, wear them out with misses, power body counters sparingly, I almost never head hunt. And so far my ring awareness hasn't been matched. But I know there's ppl out there who can match it. I never get boxed into shitty positions in the ring. And if I do get knocked down, I can get up 5 times back to back.
Loved the John Krees reference. The key in this game is ducking under the opponent punches and with that same hand counter if you ducked under to the right hit him with the right with all that leverage.

you should have your health bar activated underneath the stamina bar, makes it much easier to know when to pull away and when to move forward, you can do this by going in to settings and turning it on

Dude 😎 I did this on UFC 2010 on PS3. Hopped on and first time was against a rank 250. Said to my buddy "Get ready to see a slaughter" (as in me getting powned) and then I proceeded to have the most exciting 7 minutes in my entire gaming life. I knew the game well but never expected to beat the guy. Right at the end of round one I got the KO. Ill never forget it. I was Rashad Evans.

For those who want something in their hands right now try Hellish Quart. Its a demo, BUT a packed one. Yes its sword fighting, but the movement and dynamic variables is very much like the sweet science we all crave in a fighting game. The developers could use our support.

My favourite tactic in this game is the Joe Frazer game plan: crossguard moving in, hook to the body to drain stamina until you can go for a Ko.

Dude 😎 I did this on UFC 2010 on PS3. Hopped on and first time was against a rank 250. Said to my buddy "Get ready to see a slaughter" (as in me getting powned) and then I proceeded to have the most exciting 7 minutes in my entire gaming life. I knew the game well but never expected to beat the guy. Right at the end of round one I got the KO. Ill never forget it. I was Rashad Evans.

For those craving for a new boxing game there are currently 3 in development right now, 1 for consoles with people like mayweather working closely with production to make sure the science is intact, and 2 others for pc on steam still also sweet science first before anything. For those who want something in their hands right now try Hellish Quart. Its a demo, BUT a packed one. Yes its sword fighting, but the movement and dynamic variables is very much like the sweet science we all crave in a fighting game. The developers could use our support.
