Shawn Porter was one of my favorite fighters when he was active. Fought a lot of the top guys in his division and I always loved his aggressive, buzz saw style. Just watch the 8th round against Andre Berto and it will give you an idea of his work rate.
Love Porter for the exact reason never ducked always wanted to take the fights that people even thought he would lose in respect!

Man you ain’t kidding… I was ranked in the top #30 on Fight Night 2004 for ps2 and even won the middleweight championship belt at one time beating #4 ranked GlassJoe! I was a champion once Lol… FN 2004 on ps2 boxing is seriously the most fun I’ve had online ever!!!

To answer your question about one or two fights-I tend to binge and catch-up, not usually catching your videos immediately on release-so 2 fights a video isn’t too long in my book. I even like to tune in to the Friday night fights later on in the weekend as well, and those are hours long, but I also understand trying to cater to shorter attention spans. No worries either way, brother, keep up the great work!

I used to have the same problem playing Fight Night 3 & 4 mate, people quit once you get on top it was very annoying. I might have to get this for the Xbox because I've been waiting for a good boxing game to come out for years since the Fight Night days on the 360.

Bro, when you have an opponent hurt and he’s backing away continue to chase him and only throw one punch at a time until he’s backed himself against the ropes, or don’t throw anything until he has nowhere to run. You throw out the 3 piece combo and while you’re swinging at air he’s continuing to back away and recover.
They have to show him way more respect

if you want to run at the opponent when they're in a dazed stated, you gotta move the left analog stick forward twice; and your fighter will rush forward
Been waiting on a new boxing game for over a decade I'm still playing fight night round 4 to fill that gap 🥊
To go quicker when you rock an opponent, hold the right trigger and move forward, that’s how you get to them quicker, great videos by the way, I have the game but I’m crap at it lol.
Press up on the directional pad to move more freely I think
I've been dying for a new boxing game since Fight Night Champion. I really hope this comes to PS5 soon.
Really frustrating that they gave fighters a fifa style overall rating. I hoped they would have done a football manager style system, just have ratings for individual stats out of 20 Such as punching power, technique, footwork, speed, toughness, heart, stamina, etc people can make their own minds up based on those stats who the best overall is
That is a really great idea. Adds a little mystery. I really hope they allow us to train lower tier fighters through a career to make them better and then export them into online play. Otherwise no one will use them online. Would also be cool if we could train fighters through a “trainer mode” career then watch our AI controlled fighter vs online AI controlled fighter. Bet $ on your fighter to win with in game currency. Basically a “spectator mode”. 🤷♂️

Boxers naturally dnc up on the clinch close together. This needs to change. Boxers rarely stand trading punches
Seeing this, I hope EA sport remake its fight night game. the gameplay and effects was way ahead of its time. Just need to up its resolution.
83 rating is criminal
when they get stunned go for the body don't waste your adrenaline on head shots because they will always block high and back away, if u catch them with body shots they almost always go down just like at 11:06

The punches are throwing but the bodies are too stiff!. Fighters should be leaning ,dipping and fainting with these punches.

When you hurt chase him til you get close and just throw. He isn’t throwing punches so you don’t have set your feet

This has the making of a great boxing franchise… hopefully they fixed the spam punches. Anything after two of the same punch with the same hand should be nerfed and leave you open to a severe damage counter
if u switch stance maybe the right hand will get their quicker like the left hand?
unfortunately you can’t switch stance online yet, but you can offline
One thing I notice in all the videos regarding this game is… you can not switch sides during the round which I personally do not like … nor have I seen fighters switch from orthodox to southpaw and vise versa…. Just my opinion…

Yes they should he was originally in the ring before but there was a ton of glitches (flying ref) they need to iron out

To rush forward, you need to double tap the L analog stick in the direction of your opponent. This is a bad design choice. It would be better if you could click left stick like you would to sprint in other games to rush forward. It seems kind of cumbersome right now and boxers really do rush in when they see that their opponent is hurt. Right now most of the videos I see are people stunning their opponent and then awkwardly kind of bobbling back and forth or slowly walking toward them while the opponent backs away quickly. Maybe part of the "adrenaline mode" is that your fighter automatically moves faster to close distance. They need to do something because many people seem to not be able to capitalize on stunning their opponent.
How come your heart rate so low after throwing lots of punches? Im new to the game.

You are getting better at cutting the ring off. As for when they are rocked. You are throwing too many shots to one side and it allows them to back up while you are still throwing
I'd say if the fight goes less than 7 rounds, do 2 in a video, if it goes 7+ rounds, do 1 in a video.
