  • The Cinco Tinajas (five pools) lies in one of the most remote areas in West Texas but is worth the effort to see it among other things at Big Bend Ranch State Park. It's narrow little canyon that is very fun to explore from the top to the bottom deep in the west Texas desert.

I SPENT MY CHILDHOOD GROWING UP ABOUT 150 MILES FROM THERE. LOVE THE BIG BEND AREA.

Thanks for bringing this to us all !! That must have been some hike over that volcanic crunchy rock. Great natural sound effect. Loved the map at the start to see how much ground is being covered. Those transitions worked REALLY well in my opinion too with great narration. 👌 😊 🇬🇧 ❤️.

Interesting trail, place to stay out of if rain is around.
We went in that short canyon just south of the River Rd. I have been planning for a return visit to get off the main road and into the park. So thanks for the incentive.

Hiking back in there alone isn’t very wise. I’ve been to both parks, they are places to be careful.

Hope you didn’t run into any rattlesnakes, and you probably found out, it was a ranch and the family donated it to the State if Texas. I don’t live too far from there.

Big Bend STATE Park in not the Big Bend National Park. People still die in the State Park. You need a high rise 4 wheel drive vehicle with 3 spare tires. This is the Mount Everest of State Parks. The best roads are the ones you make yourself. “Trail” is like calling an “Alley” a 4 lane express.
