My wife happened to be in a conference in Ivory Coast when Morocco beat Spain & ALL the Africans celebrated the victory like it was their own. She flew home to NYC from that trip on an Air Maroc flight DURING the Portugal match. As most passengers slept, the pilot cut in to make an announcement in Arabic and the whole flight erupted in cheers. Such was the copilots emotion at the victory that he had to exit the cockpit to celebrate in the aisle. “It’s beautiful to just see people so happy…” said my Argentine wife. I think we’re still just scratching the surface of soccer fandom here in the states, but with your help we’re making progress.
Imagine how much better the World Cup coverage would have been if NBC or ESPN owned the right to broadcast (minus Tim Howard). Stu Lalas Stone Landon are just bloody awful. Affirmative action for American pundits just sucks

TAA, Hendo, Stones (playing RB), Foden, Walker, Ramsdale, Saka, White (playing RB), Kane, Dier, Rashford, Shaw, Sancho, Mount, Sterling, Chilwell, James - England has only 17 starters at big 6 PL teams. PL league is the best in the world, but not that many English players play there in the top teams.
