Is it me or did every shot before he released it seem to be weird, in a good way. Random bounces, shooting without thinking, just chucking in a way. Beautiful shooting, one of his best performances for sure. 13 threes that’s crazy!!!

Waves I don't think Steph chucks 3s. Even when it looks that way his form and wrist is very consistent. He's just that good at shooting from any angle.
Its muscle memory. It looks like hes chucking it but hes not. His brain tells his muscles to shoot like that. And it works consistently so i dont think its luck. Its skill.
Steph has perfected his form and release. Even being off balance, he still has practically the same chance of making it compared to being perfectly set.
While I doubt this is actually the case, in basketball our coach taught us to always have a drill before taking free throws, it's why when people do them they might spin the ball in their hand or dribble it a few times in order to make your brain remember the way to shoot that free throw (I play wide so I don't get fouled much, but what I do example is dribble from left to right hand, spin ball on right hand, then shoot)
Perhaps for some weird angles or further back shots curry might utilize something like that if he has no man on him

edit: as of 6/13/22 on game 5 of the 2022 finals, curry went 0 for 9 from 3

What people fail to realize is that even before they acquired KD they were one of the best ball moving teams in the NBA.
Nobody's just standing around for a long period of time everybody's moving around making the extra pass.
This is why LeBron's teams have had trouble against the warriors. His teammates just stand around and wait for the ball to come to them after he collapses the D. And if they're a good defensive team it won't work all the time. Of course he needs better shooters.

I remember being at work when this game was going on. I was listening to the radio broadcast and I damn near lost my mind when he made the 13th 3.
"Never been a shooter like him in the history of the game." A true statement made by one of the commentators. STEPH IS PHENOMENAL and AMAZING!!!! His love of the game, his sheer joy of playing, and his ridiculous 3 Ponters made energizes even more his teammates! In this game, Klay was on fire! KD was just as lethal, and Draymond 's rebounds, passes, defense and screens were second to none in the league! STEPH most likely will be hailed as THE GREATEST SHOOTER OF ALL TIME! The Warriors as the top 3 GREATEST TEAM OF ALL TIMES!! Let's enjoy and appreciate the greats while they're still playing in top form and are still in their primes. The Golden State era will not last long, but I hope it lasts for as long as possible--4, maybe 5, more years! :-)

Players like LeBron and MJ and such are as good as they are due to things like size and athleticism and even strength. Curry is more pure kind of talent.
