Excellent review. Also I agree completely on disliking the forced choices. You aren’t allowed to be different from the women without losing their interest. Ultimately you have to simply play along to whatever personality they have. Oddly, even applying that method doesn’t produce satisfying results in some of the endings/conclusions. Overall the game was fun for only about an hour or so. Upon my second play through my interest had waned significantly. I don’t see myself playing this again.
I would argue that the main character is bland in personality as to make it easer for the player to see themselfs as the protagonist. (But I guess that would be ruined by the fact that we see him smh)
