Damn...every single game I've been wanting to get, you review, especially the niche Mature games. You reviewed The Bunker, Infernium, Outlast 2. Heck, I just bought Hollow, you reviewed that. It's good for the price. Now, I know what you will review on April 26th: Late Shift! Lmao. If you haven't heard of it, it is a FMV crime thriller. :)
I grabbed this physical for PS4 via limited run games. Such an odd one, but love FMV.

We have these in the military. They're called CBTs... Computer based training. I wouldn't make my worst enemy go through this crap, and this seems to be what these FMV games are.

Thanks for the review. It piqued my curiosity, so I bought the Switch version. Just finished it and really enjoyed it. Like you said, it’s sort of like an interactive movie and, as such, seems priced about right ($12.50 on Switch). As for the alternative endings, I’d have been really p*ssed if I had to play through the whole game a second time just to see the other ending. If you really wanted to do that, you could just start a new game. Anyone else having trouble using a Pro Controller with this game?

The Bunker is a nice game, though. Acting maybe isn't super duper Oscars grade, but good enough for government work.

This came out for the Xbox One and PS4 ages ago, once again the Switch finally gets a release of an older game. Seriously, why does the Switch always get a release of a game ages after the other two systems ?

With the current technology available to development teams and possible games that can be made today, I think it's a bit sad to see a FMV game like The Bunker made. It's a dead genre, I would understand a FMV game being released 20 years ago but today I think gamers want games with more depth. The Bunker is a waste of time like all FMV games, why people like these games I have no idea when they could read a good book. And development teams should stop making these games and concentrate on making real games.

I don't think there is a big audience for FMV games because more games would be made, it is a very niche genre with a small number of hardcore fans. The genre basically is a interactive movie/story game and has changed over years with games like Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain and Asura's Wrath (taking the genre to it's extremes). I know people like retro and having new titles with a retro feel but I just think this is one genre that should try and move forward rather than go backward. I feel that The Bunker doesn't help this genre, it feels like a step back. If game developers do try this genre again I would like to see this genre progress not regress because it's a genre that hasn't evolved much over the years, sometimes change is good.
