I chose the SmallRig for my S1 too. One thing to mention is that the SmallRig has an additional mounting screw that bolts the camera's right side steel hand strap eyelet into the frame. This stops the camera from flexing in the cage. So, it uses the normal bottom mount and high side mount points together. Yes, the SmallRig is VERY comfortable and extremely practical with it's side NATO rail too.
Thanks for this video! I've had both of these rigs on my mind and haven't bought either because I couldn't decide! Now I know what i want. Do you still have the 8Sinn for sale? If so I am interested in buying it from you. My reason for choosing the 8Sinn is because of the optional XLR adapter they sell for it that will allow me to use the adapter with a handle on the rig. (Not possible with the SmallRig).

How many mounting points are there, and where? - Does the camera move at all in the cage? My camera from Smallrig has two mounting points, on the bottom and one on the right side. I dont like it as my camera moves when I attach bigger lenses. Pretty useless
