All cages should have the quick release option of the Kondor Blue. It's so convenient. Love all the mounting options on the title though... Great video, thx!
@@MalcolmEugene Will quickly throw in that tilta doesnt use standard arri locating pins by using a smaller 1/4" centre hole, most arri locating pin accesories will not fit into the cage because the standard is a 3/8" centre screw.

Hey man, since you have your hands on it there was just wondering could you confirm those are definitely nato rails on the tilta cage? Was expecting Tilta to use their usual proprietary rail mount so kinda suprirsed if they decided to go nato with this one. Already pre-ordered the Kondor one almost soley for the quick release system, but if Tiltas back on Nato that side handle they advertise looks pretty interesting, especially if its a left handle.
@@MalcolmEugene I seeee thats good to hear. Does the nato rail at the top function well for attatching top handles dead centre? or does the gap where the cold shoe is cause a problem/lack of security?
It does function okay. It's a little close to the body, so sliding on the top nato rail is a bit tight. I attached a second nato rail on top of that one to fix the issue.

Thanks. And indeed they do. As long as they are one of the universal mounting options such as: Nato, Arri locating pins, 1/4, or 3/8.

They are indeed nato rails and work with my smallrig nato accessories

What cage would you recommend for use with a gimbal?
Depends on gimbal payload capacity. But any of these Cages would work on a gimbal. I've used both the Smallrig and Tilta full Cages on the Crane 2S
