Is it just me that gets abit sad when Halloween’s over? I love it it’s my favorite holiday, can’t wait todo it again next year hopefully COVID won’t be around to ruin it

Yeah I still made the best of a pandemic Halloween. 2021 was so much better. Felt alive again. But that 2020 Halloween had a totally different vibe and it still worked. Have fun in Salem this week. I’m actually heading there next weekend to meet up with a buddy from California. Not sure if I’ll be filming or not. Stay tuned. Happy New Year.

Hey so I’ve been meaning to say Hi and leave a comment! I went to BU back in the 80s, lived in Boston and surrounding areas for 25 years. In 2006 moved to Utah hence the name. Anyway during this pandemic time at dinner we’ve been watching virtual tour videos. Missing Boston I typed in tour of Boston and also for other places like Salem. Your D-Tours of Salem at Halloween popped up and this past October we watched them and really enjoyed them! I had a friend who lived a few years in Salem so I’ve spent a good bit of time there but never actually went on Halloween. We’ve also enjoyed watching some of your other videos and have spent time looking at that geek wall picking out what the various things are! The funny thing is that in skimming your tour of the Halloween merch at stores we do the same thing every year although in Utah we have some other stores (with cool Halloween stuff) you won’t find in MA. We are enjoying your Tiki tour videos and realized in all the time we lived in MA never went to Kowloon! What a mistake! It was just another funky place one would pass on Route 1 on the way to or from somewhere. But if we ever get a chance to visit in the future we’ll definitely go!

I'm sure you were plastered after those beers! I wanted to go to Salem the weekend of Oct 23rd but couldn't get off of work, sadly! I went to The Salem Witch Museum 20 yrs ago & when I got there they were closing!! I haven't be been back since but always wanted to see it. Maybe next year.
I admit that every so often I would head to Salem in October. I was curious to see what it was like this year and now I have an idea. I wish I could have checked it out but due to current events and a snow storm (Western Mass got a bit more than the eastern side of the state) I had to pass. But hopefully next year! Great video though!

Earliest I was at a haunted attraction was the Sunday before Halloween... 10am at Count Orloks. There was only one other group in there. It was quiet and delightful.
From north Texas have always loved halloween but this year was just plain sad, me and the wife drove around for a bit and in a city of 30,000 folk we seen maybe 100 kids out! Keep up the videos bud and there's always next year

I recall when I went to Salem, Mass the day before Halloween, it snowed the day before I went, but it was 70s the day I went. It wasn't a snow storm, but found it strange.
Most nights all shops close by 7pm or 8pm.. Some even close at 5pm.. But all restaurants and tours usually operate pretty late during Non Covid years..
I want to come this year so bad. We went last year about 3 weeks before Halloween. During a pandemic we were not able to see quite a bit but do you know if this year everything will be open? Love your videos

Honestly, you would have had to book last October to get anywhere near Salem for this October. Always need to book a year out. The closest you can probably get now is Danvers, Beverly or Boston. Sorry.. Hope you figure it out and find a place.. 🎃

You can park for free around The Common. Plus there are several parking garages. I’d say get there as early as you can. I always get there between 9am-10am..

I have been several years ago. I went on open house tours, visited House of Seven Gables and the pub at Hawthorne Hotel.

Most stores and museums are closed by 8pm. Bars and restaurants stay open later.

Is it hard to find parking in Salem?
You can park for free around The Common. Plus there are several parking garages. I’d say get there as early as you can. I always get there between 9am-10am..
