In this episode we brave the bad weather and head out to Halloween Town, Salem Massachusetts. We spend a lot of the day meeting fans of my D Tours videos either out in the street or in the pubs. We also spend time walking around checking out cool costumes. Due to bad weather predictions the turn out this year wasn't as great as past Halloween nights, but was still a wicked fun day.. Enjoy!
Soon as COVID-19 dies off in 2021, I'm definitely taking a vacation to Salem on Halloween dressed up as a Pirate. I LOVE Halloween so much.

My parents were up from Florida so I was spending time with them and I was also covering the Rhode Island Comic Con, so i didn’t get a chance to do any editing until today.. I’ve been going non stop since last Thursday..

I fulfilled my Bucketlist with going to Salem May 2019 & it literally was pure magically & enriched with history. Plus stopped on our way back to Michigan at the Amityville Horror House. Halloween is the best time of the year & my utmost fave holiday ever! Thanks for the videos. I've been showing my 11yr old stepdaughter & my 16yr daughter & planning & praying that I get to go back. It felt like home. My bf was in luv with Salem as well. Thanks...

Hi Derek I'm Stephanie, I was watching this video and got so happy. With Covid so much has changed and is changing. But this video made me think of when times were normal. And the beautiful Salem, I live in Florida and get so happy when you release these videos. I feel like I am visiting with you and all the great fans. Keep doing what you do, your so appreciated. This seemed like the best Halloween night so far, lots of amazing folks and costumes! Have mentioned on your other vids that we were there from Maryland back at the end of Sept. Was really cool then, but the streets rolled up early, so we plan on coming back next year closer to Hallows to engage in the night festivities! 👻💀👍🍺

I spent a half day in Salem the second week of October. Traveled from Dallas, TX! Great fall weather and followed it with a trip to Woodstock, VT.

That one house I put in there near the Witch Museum )that was extra decorated) I stood there at 10pm watching the homeowners take the decorations down.. Halloween ends at 10pm sharp in Salem.. Police make people exit the streets..

Traci B You can get off the street and enter a bar, but if you leave the bar (like to step outside to smoke or make a call) you can’t get back inside.. Plus usually a high cover charge to enter..

@@DTours we loved it! The lobster shanty had the best Connecticut style lobster roll ever. The people weren't stuck up. There was no trash in the streets. My girl and I are wanting to move up there now, lol. Got to get out of NC! Couldn't get ya the beer. Lol, I was walking around with a coffee mug full of vodka 😅🤙

Me and my girlfriend are going to plan a trip for next year if flights are open were from canada and I've literally been wanting to come to salem for a Halloween since I was a kid!!
Naphtali H I hope you get to make it to Salem next year.. I was there yesterday (10/10/20) and it was dangerously over crowded and long waits and most stuff already sold out.. Complete shit show.. Hopefully next year will be back to normal where they can let the normal amount of people into shops and restaurants.. Stay tuned and stay safe🎃

It was our first halloween in Salem! I was expecting it to be busier, but im assuming it was bc of the rain. Still had fun!!
The tv weather people scared everyone from coming to Salem this year.. They said it was suppose to storm all day until 6pm, then again overnight.. Nobody wanted to waste time having costumes ruined. It was fun, but the turn out was pretty weak. Thanks for watching.. Glad you enjoyed your day in Salem.
Derek Millen - It really was! We even prepared with 3 bags of Costco candy to hand out. We live in Salem as well. I still painted my face and went as Ursula and son as penny wise. Rain or shine!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼

I'm hoping to have one of the coolest costumes in the whole City. I'm working on a Titan armor suit, from the video game Destiny. I'm building EVERY STITCH from EVA foam, plastic, and leather. Should look pretty bad ass, I "HOPE". Not certain about my colors yet. Maybe black and gold. Look for a 6 ft, 3 inch tall, armor clad, monster killing machine!! Thanks for the reply!!

I was there but didn't see myself in this video. Salem is too congested and city. I prefer more rural areas with pumpkin patches and fields with scarecrows for Halloween.
