Hi Jim, great video. Just found your channel. Had my own custom club business for 27 years. I am 77 years old. I have the Max D. Ordered it 2” shorter. Still cold on Long Island. Played once in the rain and cold. Hit 9 of 13 fairways and averaged 190 yards. Shot a 92. Looking forward to the warmer weather to see how the driver performs. Enjoyed your review from a club makers point of view. Looking forward to more of videos and your Monday streaming. 👍
Love your club reviews. Got to hit my Rogue ST Max for the first time a few weeks ago. Came from a Big Bertha 460 and picked up maybe 10 yards distance. I think that mostly came from proper fit shaft, BB 460 was stock standard flex whereas my Rogue is fitted with a UST Recoil ES 400 light flex. Same loft and shaft length. The forgiveness is absolutely amazing. First time swinging a driver since October 2021 and was all over the face of the club. Most shots went straight but a few tugged to the right (I'm a leftie).
The Rogue ST range is a good piece of work from Callaway, I haven't tried the Drivers yet, but I was testing 3Woods a few weeks ago and the Rogue St was head and shoulders above the other contenders I'm hoping to start testing the Drivers in a few weeks and I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform. I'm not a fan of the Stealth and for me the Rogue looks way better.
Great video! Went on Myspy golf site and they just did a test to determine which drivers have the most draw bias. The Ping 425 SFT was #1 with a 17 yard draw differential. Then there were 4 others. What was surprising is that the Rogue D or TM was not mentioned.I'm trying out the new Cleveland draw bias driver and it was in the top 5 with only a 5 yard draw bias. I'm interested in this because I tend to push/fade the ball and I don't want to so wanted to get a driver that had the most draw bias. I've read so many great things about the Rogue driver in general especially forgiveness and distance but wanted to make sure the draw bias was there. Also was wondering if the weight in the draw bias club can be changed/increased? Would love to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks.
Will lowering the loft from 10.5* to 9.5* or even 8.5*, eliminate or reduce that 1* standard draw bias setting? I love the forgiveness but prefer it not have the draw bias. Square to slightly open works for me. What day you?
@@McGolf I own the epic Max LS & yes, it’s forgiving & I’m sure the new one is too but I already own an LS model. Using a green dot optifit to reduce loft to 8.5 (-2*), will it… 1. Reduce draw bias? 2. Eliminate draw bias? 3. or draw bias stays the same, even when lofted down. The forgiveness is awesome but if I can get the face to sit square at address, I’d be able to work the ball both ways and still have a fairway finder. Not sure if any of this makes sense.
The LS model is not draw bias so you are already starting at disadvantage thinking it’s closed. However adjusting loft should not change the face. But if you were obtain a lefty adapter of the same and place it in D setting it will open the face and get you to a more enjoyable look at address
It’s a toss up to be sure, I like the weight moving but once set don’t do it again. I like the green and black colors of the epic, but the sound off the Rogue is much better

Just got the irons and a hybrid. Great channel. Love your reviews, and I watch lots of content
Thanks

Jim, I am close to grabbing the Rouge ST Max but not sure which shaft. Would the Tensei Blue 55 work for my 70-75 MPH swing speed? Thanks
1.25X speed..... your welcome!
Max D was good but had to switch to the LS after receiving instruction for my swing.
Good job, Jim. Sorry I missed you last night!

Need to look at the launch pad from Wilson
Question I have the Max D, if I add weight to the back would that give me more distance or just more foregiveness???
Probably more forgiveness. But I would definitely research it.
excellent review!

Look to the LS model for the square face the first LS model is quite forgiving

Do you like these more than the Epic drivers?

Would the Tensie blue work for 75mph swing speed
most certainly in the A flex or R
Why on a tracking system is the circle around the shot dispersion so much bigger than the shots?
I wonder if it’s standard deviation added to all sides?? I’m not sure though just a guess
Ian is on the right track, I can make circles or eclipses. I think it gives a better indication o father dispersion.
How do we add more weight
