In Permaculture, mixed cropping and guild is commonly used term.
Mixed cropping is a practice of planting different crops of different families in a same plot in a scientific way to maximize the use of space, use of nutrients and derive synergistic relationships between different plant elements. Here in this video we talk about the benefits and scientific aspect of mixed cropping looking at examples from HASERA farm.
