My trackball on my 1.0 ALU has been like this for awhile. For months I’ve been looking for a video that shows me how to fix/clean it step by step. But all I’ve found are videos about other/not related trackball issues. This video is all I’ve wanted and more! Thank you for the guide! I will finally have a 100% working/clean trackball. Thank you for posting this! My trackball stopped working after some heated Centipede play. I have the Ultimate Gamer. Took the rubber feet off the bottom, unscrewed everything and got the trackball casing out. Sure enough. The small plastic parts inside had cracked. Those plastic holders for the metal bars really should be sturdier, as the ball needs tension against the metal bars to spin properly. The plastic on two of my holders broke. Going to try that super glue you mentioned. Thanks again for posting this. I'd have no idea what went wrong otherwise!

TampaTec, you should have installed some of my 3D printed trackball shims to stop your trackball from ever breaking again. :) Also, if you keep a trackball cover over it when not in use, the trackball will not collect dust like it is doing.

i remember seeing a fix for the trackball - 3d printing some supports. is that still necessary, or does this eliminate the need to do that?

I just fixed mine last night.
Same thing happened to mine about 6 months after I got it. And I don't slam on my Trac ball. I bought 3D printed shims that fit inside the Trac ball. I forget where but it's such a common problem for these to break, somebody took the time to design a fix.
Yes, i would like to know the suze of the ball itself. Any hope of a response?...Actual size needed to replace just the ball?

Is there any way to swap the connections on the spinners so the left control is actually attached to the right spinner? I'm right handed and playing Tempest is just not the same using the trackball instead of the spinner. 😞
Hi there I have a legends ultimate mini arcade about 9 months old and my control deck joystick and buttons stopped working. Power button works but no joystick or game play buttons. Any idea what I can do to fix? Thanks in advance!

Trackball 🖲️ is good but Yes but need to find a way to remount the board and be sure connector fits on board.
Out of the box mine didn't have any extra spin. the ball should have some momentum when you spin it. Loks like I might have to open it up and do a dust and lube job.
My trackball just doesn't work at all on my legends ultimate. Got a replacement trackball assembly and replacement mainboard, still nothing. Any ideas?

@@bennunez2658 Hey Ben, I thiiink it's 2 1/4...at least I suspect it is based on comparing it with a pool ball which is 2 1/4. I was just hoping to see if someone could confirm before I take it all apart. It may come to that though...stay tuned

Anyone have a newer model? Ours has a solid plastic(not particle board with Formica)5 sided back(bottom) box. Only three plugs on the back. I can't get the plastic box off to reveal the inside, though I have removed the 4 screws. Anyone?
I unplugged my trackball and spinners so I could use my ps3 with the legends sticks and buttons.
Yo Mavrick can you help me out so I was gaming on my ps5 and my dog ran into my cables and it threw my ps5 off my desk and now the hdmi won’t work for my tv I’ve tried different cords and doing a hard reset and I’ve tried different port on my tv and still can’t get it to work plz help me out.
