it didnt solve anything. It just was going through a bunch of algorithms DESIGNED to solve a SPECIFIC problem. Give that same robot a different kind of puzzle and it would just sit there and spin its little hands doing nothing useful. Everyone is all giddy thinking someone will finally make a REAL robot that can learn a new language in a week and be able to solve complex problems only a computer could solve as well as write a symphony and create another robot from scratch etc. Keep waiting. We won't be around long enough for that to happen.

Showing robots like that on the front page it's extremely misleading, I don't know how you are able to get away with that. none of the robots in the video come close to resembling the ones that you're showing to get people to watch it.
There are many more better versions now in 2023. All the examples shown here are old technology. Boston Dynamics Atlas, Spot, etc and Tesla bot are not here...
The intent isn’t to make robots replace those things that make us human; rather it is to use them to automate those things that are necessary but are either dangerous or monotonous. Use robots to free humans to do more human things (like creatively ad libbing a smokin’ solo)

that guinness world record is either fake or the wording was done wrong by mistake but it is not valid either way, it states that the fastest robot solved a rubik's cube, it does not state that a robot has solved a rubik's cube the fastest, if that was my record i would have had that corrected very quickly. why is that even in this "NEW 2023" vid when it is 7 years old

Robots have their own limits, as you can't supply energy continuously, their movement is in limited area only.
