I live in Orlando Florida and it’s illegal to burn a pile but but long as it rains the day b4 I burn and the police see it but they don’t bother people long as it’s a good rain b4 we burn!

I was thinking the same things and 6" of snow and burn permit? That would not work in TX.

Drought is not necessary for fire. Especially in the east most fires are in the winter and spring.
