What's with the gloves?
Weren't these a necessity for cars built 50-60 years ago with wood-grain steering wheels (which became slippery once covered in sweat etc.)?
I didn't realise an alcantara-wrapped steering wheel could suffer from the same slip issues as a wood grained wheel
Seriously - ditch the gloves - you're kidding yourself if you think that you need them 'today' (even moreso as you're out on the open road)
I generally liked this review, but it's the trivial shit mentioned that frustrates the hell out of me:
Does anyone really think the important thing about the rear-wheel steering developed for this car was to benefit the car with a 10.2 metre turning circle??
And the sound symphosizer - what is the value in rating this as 'the best symphosized induction note in the world' - it's nothing more than an artificial gimmick......

Cup is an option that will be available in Australia, but as an option package - the LSD, brakes, suspension, and all for I heard $1500; but not available in auto

OMGz1122 no it competes with the St. The tradition with hot hatches is front wheel like the original Mk1 golf. These newer hyper hatches like the focus RS and AMG a45 belong in their own category
