A clean install for an Acer is the best thing . It gives you a chance to delete a lot of their bloatware before it takes hold, install your own antivirus you might already own, and make sure the Xbox slpash screen doesn't get put on and constantly annoy you the rest of your days. Hi, im thinking about adding m.2 nvme to my laptop and do a clean istall my os to ssd. my old os is in hdd. after clean install of os in to ssd, what will happen to the old os in my hdd. can i format the hdd completly. will it get rid of system files in hdd .helpful content keep going.

Nice to see two ram slots. My ASUS had onboard 4GB ram so I've ended up with just 12GB after upgrading 🤬
Thanks for posting! With regards to a fresh Windows install, how do I get it activated? Do I get the Product Key from the preinstalled copy first?
The key should be stored in the BIOS so a clean install should automatically detect and activate.
NVME and hdd not detected on may aspire 5 laptop. :( not showing on boot menu, can you help please?
