That’s strange about your 200 feeling rattly; i’ve owned several tranx reels and they all stay tight and smooth even after multiple years of use. And in regard to the saltwater corrosion, I don’t have any experience with that since I mainly use them in freshwater.
@LasVegasSportfishing yeah idk right out of the box my 200 has felt a lil cheap, but performs flawlessly. Just some slight wiggling in the handle, knobs too. Kinda being picky I guess
Love the Tranx series….the 500 is perfect for surface-iron yellowtail fishing.
200, 300, 400 for swimbaits.
Love my 200xg but it feels rattly, love my 400 but the anti reverse roller bearing rusts out instantly in salt water
