Yes. Ive pretty much stopped throwing traditional lures for bass, and I have transitioned over to throwing big swimbaits for bass. I also got specific setups for throwing different kinds of swimbaits.
Yes but the only swimbaits i throw are like the jr. contenders and baby bull shad for smallmouth because there isn't a lot of large mouth where i live.
Solid fish there man! The swimbait journey is a Hella fun one but take your time to get used to it and really enjoy it! It's a game changer once you get into it.
Good video buddy take a close look at the back treble hook on that plug and you'll see why you lost those two fish you got one prong bent out really bad
Nice starter swimbait setup! I wouldn't put 25lb line on a 200 size baitcasting reel because the reel won't hold as much line as it would 17lb or 20lb line. When you decide to put new line on that reel, I would go with 17lb or 20lb fluorocarbon because you really don't need the 25lb. The rod you got is a great rod, and a lot of people who throw swimbaits use the dobyns rods. I personally wouldn't throw more than 3 or 4 ounce swimbaits on the tranx 200hg because the gears in it aren't as "beefed-up" as a 300 or 400 sized baitcasting reels gears. I think you'll find yourself wanting to get another swimbait setup pretty soon because you'll find out that you can't really have an "all-round" swimbait setup that will handle treble hook swimbaits and jig-hook/single hook swimbaits.
I bought that swimbait for 40 bucks and now I've been fishing at my friends Pond and I haven't used it yet but I am going to use it to make more videos to
If you got the Sponsorship you could make your room bigger and put bunk beds in for you and Riley so there is more room for Activities also you could put them together with your Toothbrush
You do know that it's "Chuck them around today" not "Chunk them around today"....idk what chunk them around would even mean lol....and you know that first fish that you lost was nowhere near 2 lbs. You get a clear view of it that thing wasn't even over a single pound lol idk why you're discrediting your 4 lb fish either that's still a good ass fish, you put it on the scale yourself while your boat was on the bank...there won't be a more perfect time to take the weight of a fish, no waves no wind no current
Have you ever thrown a big swimbait?🤙🏻🔥

Do you use 20 or 25 pound line, and after owning it for 2 years do you suggest getting the 806 which is a little heavier
lol he said “doe-byns” and “Tran-X” 😂😂😂
I just got my custom swim bait earlier and you upload this lol it’s crazy 😂💯🎣 I’m afraid of throwing it don’t wanna lose it 😂💀
I know that feeling😂🤙🏻
I have the same rod and I love it! I was fishing a 7 inch glide bait last weekend and caught a tiny 3/4 of a pound bass and I was just confused.
