Can't wait to get them up here in Canada. My bags are already overflowing with the Jerk and Freeloader and Mayor. Smallies and walleyes love them. Ding!👊
Freeloader has been my go-to this year...guys don't sleep on the mayor on a swim jig. Can't wait for the mooch!! Fantastic line of baits...great job Jacob
I got hooked on the gizzard shad freeloader this year from smallmouth to walleye. I'm in TN. I CAN'T WAIT to use these in the same conditions as the freeloader and see what happens. Thank you for making a awesome line of "swimbaits"
Fished this past week with a friend for almost 7.5 hours throwing many different lures. We only 3 decent fish and a bunch of drinks With about 40 - 45 left to fish we went to the Mooch. In that last few minutes we caught 8 or nine decent fish.
I got some Moochies and had my first 100 fish day. They weren't all giants or keepers, but there were some 2-3 lb spots and a 14 inch Crappie. And I only used 3 because they pulled the tail off of 2. But I put them up for dropshot baits. I did start saying "got'amighty" and "big dawg" after getting them. 😂
Preordered these from Tackle Warehouse after ICast, been eagerly waiting for them to ship. Saw that my local Bass pro just got them in stock today and had to make the trip, couldn't wait any longer lol. After an employee and me searching the fishing section for at least 15 minutes he found them hiding in a tote. They hadn't been put on the shelves yet, but he allowed me to dig through it and pick out the colors I wanted. So shout out to the customer service at Bass Pro for helping me when most places would have just quickly looked at the shelves and said sorry we don't have them yet. Can't wait to throw them around tomorrow and hopefully doinky whop biggen!
Just got mine this past weekend and wow caught 13 bass before changing baits and that was only because fush broke off on timber. Super durable and produces.. caught 20 plus. Fantastic
I was so stoked for these. I looked weekly, hoping they would just appear at Bass Pro or somewhere but I gave up and reluctantly got some 6th Sense jungle minnow, which I fell in love with I still can’t wait to try the mooch minnow
Nice! Rapala sure is lucky to have the ambassador of U.S tournament fishing on their team. You’ll help sell the shiaTT out of that bait! C’Mon Berkley, step it up!😂
I put 12 packs in the boat and im finna put work in on Dale hollow in a couple weeks 💪😎 i mean got almighty son i cant wait, i rigged one up on a range roller head and have it sittin in my truck to play with while i drive 😂
What about the VMC hybrid swimbait jug head? Is that the deal for the freeloader and the mulch minnow. I wish they had a more finesse head than the three eights
@@caseyhepler2806 I really like gizzard shad, Tennessee shad, also sungill and perch. I’ve caught them on all of them but that’s what I’ve had the most luck with
My first trip out with the new mooch minnow and I caught about 40 on a single bait plus a 14 lb striper. We ended the day with 100 bass on Lake Russell. I caught a few fishing vertically, but most were caught throwing into a school and they would grab it on the drop. Not too shabby 😁. Thanks for all the great details you share.
Different packages than retail? 6 in a pack instead of the 8 baits like it shows in the video? Also in more of a freeloader style package instead of the mayor clamshell?
@@ryanwiedle5296 Good catch! Rapala had to go down in bait count and change packaging so they could keep this bait at $5.99 at retail and stay consistent with the rest of the Crush City line
Ok... let's be clear. I'm not a hater. I'm poor. I can't afford 5 or 6k for ffs. It's all I can to own a boat. How do I make this bait work without playing the video game? Can I make it work blind casting?
Do like I did bud I don't have alot of extra money either and it is tough to follow every trending thing but... if you have any credit at all grab a credit card at bass pro shops and buy the garmin and get on forward facing sonar it's so fun but if your credit isn't there look for birds diving like sea gulls or loons and just start throwing through the birds and bait balls thats below them. Other than that just throw something else hahaha
Fish your normal spots… drop the bait and jig head over the side of the boat, use the “countdown trick/technique” and cast to the deeper side of your structures you are fishing, as well as the structure! That’s it, hope it helps!
