In the shark formation, which slot is best to use the shark resonator on (ie for +100% HP) for army?
If you play with gipsy Options:
1. Play aggressive and a touch risky: slot 2 HT and slot for shark formation
2. Play conservative: HT slot 5 …Shark formation slot 5
If you don’t use gipsy :

Random question is there any such thing as too much attack speed on HT. most my HT’s have about 9 Atk speed and one has all three with 16.5% atk speed should I try to get the other three that way?
Honestly…NOPE. If you do NOT get hero procs from your HT …the HT HFR = 0 value

I have gypsy and shinji in army setup. Are they best with polik or strikes eurika?
If you do NOT have striker eureka at 5 stars and lvl 5 now ….use gipsy Shinji Polik .
As soon as striker is 5 star and lvl 5 …move Shinji to planes and use : gipsy striker Polik on tanks
I sometimes use slot 7, 8 and 9 for encirclement units when hitting bases. 2 of them being air (as it´s my weakest and i want to keep having the encircle stats for as long as possible) and only keeping 1 with tanks. slot 1-3 and 5 are mostly for dmg, 4 and 6 for kotiya and slot 8 wouldn´t really do any dmg after losing units so i just use 6 stacks for dmg to make sure i have the encircle even after beating several marches. However that only works when i know I´m stronger and don´t need every bit of dmg i need to win the forst battle

There are a lot of information which I don’t have from you, BUT with what you provided me , I can explain where some issues will be.
Topwar battles works like this :
- You hit …then the opponent hits
- depending how many units are on a slot (which has its turn to hit) : that’s MASSIVELY influencing your damage output .
In other words ;
You have 2 buffing heroes + your damage output comes from : gipsy and Maximo , BUT : you do NOT use striker or Shinji .
The indestructible buff Shinji or striker provides influence your result MASSIVELY!
That’s why you must use the following hero setup :
Maximo + Shinji (OR STRIKER) + Hazel .
Gipsy is absolute the best hero in game right now …but HE IS NOT NEEDED cause you have hazel.
Take gipsy and start building your tank setup
On top. If the opponent has a very well balanced tank setup and is close to your stats …he will AND must win, due to how the game is designed:
Tanks> planes …planes > Navi and Navi > tanks
Which is another reason to start working on your tanks

You should probably address that this is only ideal for less than Fortified 13. At Fortified 13+ on Army and Those running Navy and not using Kotiya, your Slot 4 & 6 should be used for encirclement because Slots 7 & 9 are your highest buffed slots from Formations. Kotiya and Max marches this would mess with their procs but with Fortified 14 I usually split troop types for encirclement to one in the front row and one in the back.😊
Nah. This is my and my and experience players conclusion:
Encirclement on slots 7 and 9 if using shark/scorpion .
Cause this heroes (with skills) specifically buff that unit type
By the time the whole back row is allowed to hit , the amount of units on those slots will be massively reduced

I say this as I have advise this to many players 50CP and above that have seen vast returns on Slots 7 & 9 for main troops, but if you are meaning sub 45-50CP, I understand this thought. You also cannot use the slot 4 & 6 technique if using Max and/or Kotiya due to their proc mechanics. I still think it would be wise for you to have said lower power players this is key technique, but larger power players should consider and test encirclement troops in Slot 4 & 6 for Army and Navy for those that are using Stromoy over Kotiya. 👍🏼

There is no minimum requirements honestly. It’s a massive buff + those units will be gold units (if you have the gold unit deco)
Even in Pve you must use 1 encirclement units (NOT 2 ..cause you do t need the extra 30% dmg-)…so you get 20% dmg+
Ahh okay. I usually base it on full purple equipment = worth using, but the DMG+ is worth it for the first 6 slots
Not necessarily…by the time your slots 7 and 9 are allowed to hit …if they are still alive ..they will have less units …dealing way less damage in general
The encirclement..for the time being..with the dmg+ and dmg- stats we can have now…is STILL worth sacrifice slots 7 and 9
The 10th slot is useless for this buff? but why you have reports that show it?
We had that explicitly mentioned by the devs in the shark reinforcement description.
The reinforcement will NOT inherit the encirclement buff

You won’t needed…the 10th unit will receive all other buffs (hero, skills, Shark toy, formation tech, etc)
