A clarification: You do *not* lose Encirclement on Base Defense.
But it's tricky. For the garrison, it shows under Profession Perks; for the remaining fights, it shows under Combat Elite.
I can't say where it shows for Mechanical Masters though.

It does Samuel…..using the encirclement on slots 8-9 means keepin up the maximum pressure on the opponent..by using the same unit as the march on slot 7

What about when using Kum & Hazel in an air march, as she gives damage increase to last two rows of planes; does in then make sense to sacrifice formation buffs for front row slots?
Yes. …and many players place plane (slot 1)- navi (slot 2)- planes (slot 3) . Only very high stats players play with planes (slot 1-7) with Hazel…to do a much dmg as possible as soon as possible (Shinji lvl 7)….but the main line remains : HT then the slots 4-6 (Maximo)
Hi Timmi would you use encirclement on warzone excercise? I've actually noticed worse results using encirclement in warezone. Do you have any thoughts on this? Thank you
Up 350% dmg+/- you should definitely stop using encirclement
@t-me8295 thank you Timmi, just to clarify... if my DMG is less than 350% I should not use encirclement on any of my marches, including ID? Simply not at all until I increase my DMG increase over 350%?

I know you probably mentioned it. But when setting base defense for svs, for example. Don’t use HT? Probably because of the 1 hour cool down.
- it’s 10 mins CD a on HT repair
- you are 100% correct …I hide my HT way back in my base …not many opponents can reach it …but a few can

You see in my 2 battle reports :
1. Never put HT a on your main defense
2. Set the 2 ht as a certain unit type AND pay attention which unit type is your first back up :
Example : set it like me: for tanks and planes BUT the first back up is my Navi .
This way. The opponent MUST face :1 planes march + all my Navi …to reach my first HT (on tanks )…then he must kill all my tanks …in order to reach my last HT …on planes

1. Make sure : there is NO RESEARCH IN PROGRESS… wait till it ends or seep it up
2. Switching will give you : all resources + speedups +class items back

It’s case no.1: attacking ….use 2 different units type on slots 8 and 9 …..different type then the main units type for that march

You have to set different units on slots 8 and 9 for the encirclement to work in warzone
I´m not 100% sure but i think in buildings it´s actually only the first march getting encirclement bonus (at least in ad...don´t have another building report saved unfortunately)
As long as there are 3 units type ( in different matches )

The PRIORITY remains aims the same :
- get HRF for slots 1-2-3
- try to match and get a full set for the set bonuses
Sure the new set looks stronger …BUT do you want to go through all that drama /pain AGAIN? Get HRF on chip
Unless they changed the rules, you do not lose Encirclement in a solo attack even if you've lost your off unit types.
And the same holds with a Base defense.
I would imagine the Rallies and defending buildings, Ruins, etc., would retain Encirclement.

The Devs move where Encirclement is noted in the statistics after the garrison fight. For that one, it's listed under the Combat Perks.
For the rest of the Base battles, it's listed under Combat Elite.
I think that there's a Mechanical Master line too, but I'm not one, so I'm not sure.

@@t-me8295 - what being confirmed? Maybe on solo attacks, but that's really difficult to verify and I don't trust the Devs.
@@t-me8295 - the MM line is different. It's their boost for joining a Rally and is another very powerful tool many people seem to forget about.
Although, running a Mass Rally in SVS is either useless or impossible. If you're crushing your opponent, there's no need; and if they're crushing you, they'll just port the Rally starter before it triggers. 🤣
U dont have to setup 3 different unit in base defense to get 30% dmg dec..only need to have 3 type of unit in base to get that dmg dec
BUT setting a wise order …helps a lot to get the maximum of your account and makes a huge difference surviving
Yes. It’s 100% correct and I probably didn’t explained it best .
Of course the encirclement is auto activated with 3 type of units in your base…but I combined it with explaining that the base defense settings COUNTS and it’s very important.

I’m struggling to believe this theory on the base defense automatically getting encirclement. You can click attributes for each section of a battle. If your theory is correct you should see a decline in dmg+ and dmg- respectively halfway through the rounds once unit types are eliminated
9:38 is incorrect, not hard to see if you check stats
