It's been so long since they reworked that and the only thing they did was add the 4x. And i should add: buttons to advance turns and rounds (side note: they often use the same term for different things hahahh). Take for example a rally on these huge fights in capitals and ruins and WHAT DA HAAAIL there's 3hrs of content in 1 battle report at 4x.

Yes please Timmy! I would love to be able to watch battles and be able to rewind, fast forward, pause, and play back at different speeds. Being able to click on the different slots to see the buffs/debuffs applied would be crazy good for understanding just how the game works without a lot of misconceptions, and without having to run dozens of battles to confirm things. This would be the best change I've seen in topwar I've ever seen.

Love the videos. You’ve become my go-to for updates etc… I’ve got Kotiya unlocked but haven’t done anything with her. With that said I think I might go with Strom since I’m going to unlock her anyways. It’s still early but the upside seems to favor Strom over Kotiya based on the early data.

As I have on my navy Layla Mega Sea, you saved me from exchanging Mega with that new hero. Luckily I switched to Air a while ago.
=> what upsets me with Rivergame is that with this new hero they make also Sea obsolete. The upgrade path to meta gets longer and longer, as I would need Crimson to get her and the next Air hero is at the door in 5 weeks.
You said it correctly, Rivergame must allow us to exchange skills. It became just booring that every new hero eliminates another one but brings not really more combination to the game :-(
New heroes after a while is normal, it’s their business model.

You guys have my channel & dm support . Not all heroes are worth it …not always it’s worth switching .

What I would suggest you is to wait for the new hero coming up in a few days. Then we can decide.
Always don’t forget you need 630 universal shard to 5 star a hero. So keep up getting universal shards from floppy , lucky numbers and deep see hunting

I've been collecting many shards from the events and daily,weekly shards from my VIP level and store.Deep hunting sea is a great event for getting many shards.
I got Duke to 4 stars and his es4 for now and I didn't want to use up all the shards that I have since I've been wanting for a second hero.

Because there is a lot of players that do not have 3 types of marches. But only one or two types. Thank you for the great video! I have a question regarding the damage increase. You mentioned that both heavy armor from Stromoy and Crimson will give a 25% damage increase. The skill of Stromoy says that it gives damage increase "for each type of damage reduction shield" and both Stromoy and Crimson provide heavy armor. So my question is: will the 2 different stacks of heavy armor actually be considered as different types of damage reduction shield? Thank you

I'm like 200 Class item chests away from 3hm. I have Layla, Kotiya, and Crimson 5*, skill lvl 5. I'm tempted to level up the new hero, but I think I may try to get a good tank march first. I have 5* gypsy/ skill 5, 4* striker/ skill 5, and Polik who is like 1* still. I'm leaning towards getting striker and Polik finished to have another good march, especially for defense.

I think the really big difference between these two will be at Ex7. Kotiya really didnt offer much at ex7 while Stromoy appears to offer considerable fireworks while improving the silence ability. Do tidal wave or hydo wake from the new HT count as a damage reduction shield?

Both setups are crazy good ..THEY ONLY REASON why I don’t use gipsy on navi is :
He bring the tanks to a whole different level of performance. Plus have a look how many tanks you can park in your base vs Navi .
Tanks are far superior then navi (from units layout and heroes )

genetically speaking the yellow HT is the best HT. so use it for your best unit setup.

Get crimson on navi and your Navi is solid for now .

You should get striker first to 5 star to replace Optimus

In the long run , you will need Layla. It will help you more.

I have to say I don't agree with your assessment of the silence. Stromoy silence is a guarantee. Kotiya is not. es7 gets really nasty good and it's simpler math as an example. Versus tanks, we can assume polik does an avg of 10T damage. While gypsy and striker do another 10T in damage. Well, Stromoy is going to remove 50% of strikers proc range and 66% of gipsy's. So, you the battle is only one round, you are looking at 58% in guarantee proc reduction before rng gets involved. Moreover, she is going to add this silence AND the armor shield EVERY round. So, he damage reduction model isn't flat, it's now compounded by rounds which is a positive modifier because units stacks will be lower and/or gone. Kotiya, can't touch this as the middle units might be gone or may not proc. This is a direct comparison to Polik's skill though it's for defense.
I hope this wasn't confusing for you or thr followers, but this hero is far better than kotiya and is frankly OP. Es7 for those that can afford it is exceptional value. Es5 isn't bad at all, so don't think her value is trash at es5. Thanks again for you analysis! It's still top notch. See you in the warzone.

She is better the kotiya …yes …but takes all the fun out of the Navi .

I give up on this game. As soon as you finish leveling up and upgrading the skills of your hero they release a new one that makes him outdated.
Trying to keep up with meta will burn u out. Just bc they aren’t meta doesn’t mean they are not viable! Also perks > heroes
Navi is the issue. Not the other units.
Shinji + maximo + Selina ( an 4th of January ; Hazel) + HT is since November last year ABSOLUTELY crazy strong.

What a waste of money And thanks developers for making people have to spend another 1500 for same type of heroes. It is getting frustrating the more and more time and money spent on this game. They are getting more and more greedy it seems. Just plain frustrating 😖🤪

The game is designed like a supermarket.
You MUST first make you shopping list (know what you need) …THEN you enter the supermarket.
You do NOT need yo buy all the no nonsense .

@@t-me8295 yes you are correct in this but I was just trying to say that I spent money and time to get kotiya and now she is not as good and you need to buy this hero now cause she is outdated now so why do this so that people have to keep spending and spending on a game when I can just buy the same type of game for Xbox or playstation and spend only once a year instead of all the time.
