I had frequent trauma doing cross splits and turnout exercises. I was very scared to start doing it again. I spent more time on the inner thigh muscles and convinced myself that everything would be fine. But I still get excited when I do it

@@artisticswimmingcoach I think the problem is thoracolumbar scoliosis (which I had before synchro) and weak inner thigh muscles. When I first came to synchro training, I had not yet fully sat down on the splits and my level of training was significantly lower than that of swimmers who had been practicing for 2-6 years. We sat on the twine with our hands off the floor, changing our legs every 3 minutes for a total of about 30-40 minutes in the middle of this process, 3 minutes of transverse twine. I have never been so nervous during stretching and the fact is that I was not afraid of pain, I was afraid of getting injured. I didn't go to that coach anymore.
