This was such an awesome build!!! I recently branched out from just sewing into making foam props and while very time consuming, it can be very rewarding! Was ich beim weathern gelernt habe, ist, dass man verschiedene Farbtöne bemutzem sollte. Dreck ist erstaunlich farbenfroh xD Stell dir vor die waffe lag ma im Gras, haste z.b. Grün und Gelb dazu. Bissel blut machts rot etc. Sieht im richtigem Maß realistischer aus.
Amazing tutorial!! Hey, have you thought about using a soldering iron with a hot knife tip attachment? It will cut through your EVA foam much better than using a box cutter. It cuts "like a hot knife through butter". But then you already have laser cutter so.....meh. 😊
I can do detail work like that on Warhammer/ Warhammer 40K models... But I don't think I could get that level of detail on something that big. Looks awesome though!

The one piece of the stock on the rifle you didn't mention, had what appeared to be a length of wire/cable. Is that supposed to be a type of flashlight or laser desiginator?

@@MettaKirkoff hey if you are in the US, see if there is a Harbor Freight in your area! I had the same problem as you, thinking I could never afford one... then I went to harbor freight and not only was it totally affordable, it came with all the little sanding bits and grinding tools and cutting heads that I could want.. didn't even have to buy them separately. I think it was like twelve dollars?? Then i promptly used it to start on Kamui's Stormtrooper rifle 😆
@@MettaKirkoff Also, you can buy foam mats there to cut up and they are super not expensive, and then you don't have to wait for them to be shipped to you. Sorry if I'm spamming, I just spent a long time wanting to do these kinds of things while simultaneously being poor, and options do exist

Cuts are always bad when done by hand. Use a Dremel to clean them up! :)

Hey Metta! Thanks! Hmmm for foam not really. You can already get a Dremel for 15$ however. That's not too much I think.
