So this means that as the distance increased from 36" to 40", the beam intensity decreased from 250 to 202.5

Thank you very much but some of us may need some math refresher courses. 250x 36x36(36)squared=324,000 and (40) squared 40x40=1,600. Then divide 324,000 by 1,600=202.5
