"Give me Leonard Cohen after world, So I can sigh eternally." There is so much said without saying it literally in that line it is comparable to the likes of Shakespeare or Poe.

He wrote songs from the 60s ish onwards until his death in 2016 and I would highly recommend listening to especially his earlier works. He originally wrote the song "Hallelujah" that everyone knows made popular again in the 90s by Jeff Buckley's cover of the song. Anyways, it's hard to explain but if you familiarize yourself with Cohen's music you will get what Kurt is saying. He truly is one of the greatest songwriters of our time in mine and many others' opinion. I suggest starting starting with either his first album "Songs of Leonard Cohen" or my favorite album of his called "Songs of Love and Hate." Happy listening friend ✌
