- This is so different from their past two releases and I’m here for it! It shows growth and evolution. I like that even though the sound has changed here they were able to keep their main chore concept which is all about self confidence, self love and me, myself and I type of vibe! I like how they’re showing that you don’t need to conform to the norms to please others, try to fit in but that you just need to be your true self and only then will you shine. I adore this type of message. The structure of the song was pretty similar to their other songs so in that sense “it is very itzy like” also they also managed to find a great balance throughout the song. I feel like this fits their vocal range better tbh and that rap was probably Ryujin’s best rap ever (only title track). The dance break is once again incredible and damn do I love their ending pose! Such an amazing comeback!

Hey guys, edit on my initial thought: this is definitely a grower, the more you listen to it the better it gets but unlike their first two MV I needed to listen to it more than once to get addicted. Non perso, j'ai senti le truc dès les teasers/highlights donc pas surpris et j'ai adoré dès les premières secondes :P
Et l'album bah... Disons que JYPE a expérimenté un maximum avec elles. Y'a 4 morceaux que je surkiffe mais les 2 autres je sais pas encore honnêtement ("You make me" et "Nobody Like You")... Ca sonne beaucoup trop western et depuis 2010 j'ai toujours eu du mal avec la western pop (même si ces morceaux restent bons, c'est juste pas trop mon kiff)
Donc on sent bien que JYPE vise l'ouest avec elles et je sais pas si c'est vraiment une bonne idée... Tants de groupes ont déjà échoué dans cette quête :/

I liked this cb, and I like that it sounds different while still feeling like an itzy song. Their title tracks lyrics so far are always about staying true to yourself and loving yourself as you are, I'm glad it's a message they keep sharing despite changing their musical style a little. Ryujin though... that era is definitely hers.
My first listen I wasn’t completely sold, but upon my second and this listen, IM SOLD. And yes, I have been struggling to choose my bias between Ryujin and Chaeryeong, but I think Ryujin won me over here 😬 Love them all so much though!

What's funny is that this comeback was the easiest for me to enjoy right off the bat. I liked their overall vibe their first two comebacks but I appreciated the more melodic tone of wannabe.
Fun Fact: Ryujin wasn't the only one rapping. Chaeryeong was rapping with her. You just can't see her say the lines because its cuts but if you watch the performance version you can see Chae and Ryujin are both doing the rap♡

If you actually listen to ITZYS b-sides they have songs that sound exactly the same as this cherry has that dark pop vibe that they have in this song and I really love them for that, plus the fact that they do full on pop punk songs in Want it and Nobody like you which transport me back to like 2007 when they do those types of songs .
It was very different than icy and dalla, but it was still definitely an Itzy sound, which I think is great
Not gonna lie, this is probably my favourite title track / MV from them. I really, really like it. The beat is still switching a lot, but not as heavily as in Dalla Dalla and ICY.
