    Lol I used to have a Friday box- if the kids didn’t put their things away that I left in their pile after one reminder anything and everything would go into the Friday box and they couldn’t get or use it until Friday when it would be released to them. It didn’t take long before they didn’t need to be reminded lol ! They are all grown up now and they still talk about the Friday box. So not only did it work but it became a great memory for them.

    Oh sweet Jenilee! I'm in awe of you and how much you get done with a new babydoll. You remind me so much of my sweet daughter in law. ❤ I saw someone else make sourdough crackers and theirs were thick too. It's impossible to get them as thin as a commercial bakery can. They look DELICIOUS (In fact EVERYTHING does!!) and I love the name y'all came up with!! I made a big pot of chicken soup and canned it yesterday. I love the convenience of home canned meals. Thank you for sharing with us. It brings me such joy to watch you❤ 💞🙏💞

    We always put separate piles on the stairs as well. Each person had their own to take up. Can’t miss it that way. Worked perfectly for years! Now we are in a single story so piles go on the kitchen bar.

      GNOWGLINS has info on raw milk yogurt. U make it in a dehydrator. The Excalibur fits half gallon jars or u could just do qts.

    Your yogurt turned out so thick! I’m wondering if it has to do with the raw milk you use (versus what I have available) or just a better starter. I’ve made yogurt in my instant pot a dozen times but I always must strain the whey out to get it to thicken enough. I’ll check out your recipe. Btw, I priced out what it would cost to purchase raw milk in my area and it’s $17/gallon. I’m sure y’all get a better deal with your Amish friend. :) I loved the video and I understand the go go go of your precious homemaking life! 😊

    • @jenilee.thepioneerhome
      @jenilee.thepioneerhome  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh my gosh 17$ a gallon! Ouch! Yes we get ours for a generous 3 dollars a gallon. Making it much easier to afford to make all the dairy products. Try the yogurt though. It's still cheaper than buying all the yogurt. I just use great value plain Greek yogurt for the starter. I buy a bigger container and just keep it in the fridge for yogurt making. Thanks for watching! I appreciate you!

    I put items near the stairs or in bags hanging over the stair gate. You have to lift them off to get down the stairs but somehow the bag itself never makes it down haha “Mahmmm this bag is soo annoying” 😅 Ah yeah. So is all your stuff inside it haha #tripsover

    Get ur kids to pick up n one of the tasks in doing that will be to put away the piles THEY collect
    Get ur kids to clean and THEY will be telling others: I just swept that floor, take ur dirty shoes off at the door! Tommy why did u leave ur cars here? I just cleared off the table. I just washed the dishes, don’t get another knife for the butter, use this 1 here, etc-instead of you. They will “nag” each other lol
    PLUS more time to cook for u! WinWin (or just breathe, yes😅)
