I've played this ship for 7 hours and and a whole 15 matches I've never done with any other legendary. There's something about this Ship that makes me keep playing it
The Napoli is based on a preliminary design from Ansaldo for the Soviet Project 22 Heavy cruiser. The historical design was called for a ship with nine 250 mm guns in three triple turrets with two superfiring at the front and one at the rear. The secondary battery would consist of twelve 130 mm guns in six twin turrets, and twelve 100 mm guns in six twin turrets as well. The design was also armed with two triple torpedo launchers located at the rear of the ship. In the end, the design was abandoned.
It feels armored like a super cruiser with heavy cruiser guns, instead of a lightly armored ship with 300+ mm guns it’s got the 254’s but a great armor scheme, it’s the only ship I build for full agility but with the rolling smoke to disengage u can play so aggressively and survive, so it’s really fun to play
Good Video Spartan. I personally love my Napoli. Haven’t had that stand out game myself but it’s a solid performer. I run a stealth build on mine with a 8.4km detection
Spartan, I personally think that they best way to treat any Italian ship other than the Battleships are as light cruisers. I like to run them more for agility and I have tons of fun, and I think you'd have more fun like that too, making them thoroughbred racing brawlers.
Good video, finally an italian ship at legendary tier, just got two solo warriors in arena with my Pommern, she is a beast in this mode, finally Pommern is useful for something
Working researching the Napoli right now, so I’m a ways off from getting it. Italian CL shoot slow. You can get good games, but you’ve got to make sure you don’t get slapped by a ship you didn’t even notice they shot at you from across the map.
For me, as long as I don't bow tank bbs, the armor works for me. I make my Napoli an agile cruiser, as long as I angle, that armor is decent. Yeah, going broadside makes me a saaad panda. But for me, mid to long range works for me as the guns do make me tingle
Yeah, an agile build on this thing basically makes you unkillable, Yamatos just completely stop being scary because of the armour, it’s pretty hilarious. Assuming a certain level of skill of course haha
Hey spartan, saw you in a AI game last night. You and I were the only two players. I was in the Edinburgh, you in the Zietan. First time I’ve ever encountered a CC!
I just started to watch your videos and I'm a newbie with no knowledge of warships. Could you do a video explaining certain things for beginners like me? Things like what citadel is, how much armor affects different ships, loadout with different effects etc I would very much appreciate it
I have a few guide videos like my Citadel guide, tips for battleship captains, and I highly recommend my Path to playlists because I go in depth about the armor and overmatching as well as how to defeat them. Welcome to the game and to the channel!
Played 2 standard games tonight, lost both because teams don't fight their side. If you got points for fighting where you spawned, I think this is a good idea if wg watching.
The only legendary I have ATM is Alaska. Was hoping for Shima next and am only four segments away, but the path to complete the Gearing appears to be the easier of the two even though I'm only halfway there with it. Oh, and I should add that I have no interest in the Napoli. I like the Italian battleships, but the cruisers and destroyers just don't sing to me.
Napoli is alright, it can be fun in the right situation, but not having radar or hydro makes it rather weak at Leg tier, Stalingrad still reigns supreme at the tier

It's a fun ship but it gets punished if you're not fully aware

I love super heavy cruisers, can't wait to get my hands on this ship.
It's really not a super cruiser since it only has 254mm guns

The turtleback of the Napoli is useful actually. When i play it it works
Great video Spartan I played 1 game in her and I like it definitely a fun cruiser to play keep up the fantastic work 😎
I’m really liking the Italian line. I think I might research the Napoli at some point.

Yeah its a nasty boat just gotta watch getting caught broadside is a death sentence
Nice job leaving your flank immediately
I’ll play this ship when the shimageddon passes by

Noice I was trying to get my win for the bureau
@@SpartanElite43 same here. Needed a quick tier 7 win before bed. Keep those great videos coming.

Secondary's are surprisingly Accurate

@@SpartanElite43 thank you I would check them out
Looks kind of decent as a mid to long range support ship with meh AA and torps are good for zoning
I skipped the legendary challenges for cards. When you finish the campaign, there are iwami challenges that are easy

Ship looks mad fun like my Azuma !!!!
Spartan you don’t need the range for this ship because the base range is decent but your reload is low
U need to see it on PC, its a great ship.

I unlock it probably this week, maybe next at the latest
Hope you enjoy!
Napoli is the birth place of pizza… I think this could generate some interesting memes about this ship 😏
don't play much legendary tier but I like this ship.
Napoli doesn’t have sap shells ?
Should of right
No it doesnt
Spartan between grinding the Napoli and Kaga which is worth it
Napoli

I don’t enjoy the Italian line but I like the Napoli
bro the cruiser has more hp than some battleships💀
Well, yeah. It's a legendary tier cruiser. It's basically a given. Higher tiers mean higher health.
before I watch this video I just need to say, I NEED THIS SHIP TO BE GOOD FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
😄 it's not a bad ship
@@SpartanElite43 VINDICATIONNNNNNNNNN!
You know thats the Napoli are a Brawler Cruiser not a sniper? You should brawl with it!
