Venezia is a hypothetical development of the Ansaldo 1940 heavy cruiser project. The first Italian heavy cruiser designed outside the framework of international naval agreements. In addition to the Italian fleet, the project was also offered to Spain, but did not interest any of the potential customers and was not implemented in metal. The only difference is Venezia's armament of 203 mm main battery guns is increased to five three-gun turrets.

I'm using Sandman with red and Kutz its my build for Italian ca"s... Sand man's 3rd row skill is added saP dammage so coupled with reds sap added dammage it slaps a bit harder...

Moving forward I think every Meet The video should end in dev strikes as you do the post game wrap up. Those were some solid selling points. One shotting a Shima def raises my interest in this ship lol

Great video yeah Legndary tier is a crap show, some is bad players for sure, but I also think the smaller maps hurt to because you could be bow tanking your side but two bbs on the other side get your broadside. Or worse the guys from mid spawn head to one side, making it 6 on 3,5 on 3, or 4 on 3. Because your team at mid stil go forward shocker. So bigger maps would help, make that no ships at any cap can hit the other unless they sail 7 or 8 km to it, that also stop B cap as that is were most ships do not stay from going to A or C

I guess being in legendary tier hurts this ship a little. While playing Amalfi there is this tactic that you bait people into shooting your belt and angling right before the impact. I guess you can't do that there?
I tried using SAP in the Trento. It was horrible. I tried SAPing a Hyuga dealing barely 2k a Salvo, while aiming for super structure or stern Armor. Going back HE on that boy
SAP is very effective against destroyers

How is it possible that AP shells make less damage than Semi AP shells do? Maybe I just don't understand it but for me looks logical that normal AP can penetrate armor better and makes bigger damage than only just a Semi AP.
Because my commander specifically buffs SAP damage

Not a potato just hate sap there is no point I’d rather have a lower reload for my AP and I’d rather perma fire or flood with my torps. Sap really provides me nothing and takes from my AP for negligible “benefit”

Good question.
I've had Napoli for almost a year and I love it. It's rather tanky for a cruiser so you can brawl a little bit. The Napoli is a bit more forgiving if you make a mistake.
The Venezia looks like a very potent cruiser that's more on the finesse side because of its armor scheme and citadel, but that's just me.
I strongly recommend watching a few video reviews of the Napoli from Spartan, Xarkun, A ARon, & Metajerk to get some different perspectives and see if it will work for how you play.
Then...watch some additional Venezia reviews as they are released; from there you'll have more information to make an informed decision.
Personally I like Venezia more so far
Is there any reason Venezia’s smoke lasts 10 seconds longer than Napoli’s? Napolis rolling smoke is only 20 seconds
