On the PLO bomb pot hand, you have to use exactly 2 cards from your hand, so having the bare A of diamonds wouldn't give you a flush. Shoving there is good to get him off a chop
How long are you staying in Texas? I am going to Vegas in January would be cool to see you at the Bellagio. Do you know of any 7 card stud hi low games going in vegas, would be interested up to 6 12 limits
I'm back in Vegas. Other than the large mixed games that run in town, I'm not aware of them spreading 7 card stud in any of the poker rooms these days. Once in awhile I see it being played at South Point but that is very rare.
TT: Punt. No way you have enough in front of you to get a K to fold. ATxx bomb pot: You accidentally did the right thing by folding out a likely chop. AKo: When v checks turn, I'd bet.
Hey Everyone, just a quick note that the banner at the top says $1/3 but the stakes are actually $1/2. Also, I played like a total fish in this episode so enjoy 😁
You are certainly right that you played like a big fat 🐟 this episode. At least it was entertaining and a prime example how not to play. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Oh well, as long as you learn from your mistakes then it's ok i guess. 👍👍👍👍 14:18 You say here: "we are turning the nut flushdraw on the second board". In PLO you have to play 2 cards of your hand and 3 on the board. So even if another diamond hits on the river then you still don't have the nutflush. You only have the nutflush blocker in this spot with only a pair of fours!! That is just an unforgivable mistake that you don't even know the proper rules of PLO!! 👿👿👿👿 Come on man that's poker 101.
Almost as much action in this game as 1/2 at South Point with all the free roll grinders. 1/2 $500 and 1/3 $1500 oh my and they don't rake $5 and $2 promo
Ha! I can assure you there is way more action in these games than the 1/2 at South Point. The 2/3 game at South Point can be good depending on the day and time. South Point will always hold a special place in my heart.
You made a pot sized bet that I think was correct for the wrong reasons 😂😂...with the A of diamonds in your hand you have the blocker to the nut flush....I think it was correct to bet pot to fold out a chop...you had the top locked up and he had the bottom....with a pot sized bet you got him to fold the winning bottom cause you know he could. It have had the nut flush...just my 2 cents
@@turbozzz4376 Thanks for tuning in! Glad you found the channel. I'll always play the lower stakes. I don't see myself ever playing any higher than 5/10. Even 5/10 isn't relevant for a majority of players so I'll keep the 1/2,1/3 and 2/5 content coming even if/when I do move up.
This is what happens when out of towners come to Texas and try to play 1/2 poker. Has no idea he doesn’t have a flush in the bomb pot or that he was gonna get snap called by k7 suited in the first hand or 67 off suit. 1/2 streets in Texas are wild haha
I don't think cold calling a 3-bet with JJ with 2 people left to act is a good idea. If you think the middle position has AA or KK are you just hoping to hit a set by calling?
And then you proceed to play aggressive when you have TT with a over card on the flop because everyone checked to you? You were the pre-flop aggressor of course people check to you. I would never C-bet without top pair with that many people still in the hand.
Also, in TX no one is folding top pair ever; especially with such a good payout. Even if he had KQ, KJ, KT, they won't be folding. You can only get QQ JJ to fold here. Not sure what you are trying to represent yourself.
You should be glad you bet so big on the PLO DBBP, he calls you end up chopping as he probably wins the bottom board. Won’t roast you for thinking you had the nuts with just the A♦️, saw another comment where you mentioned you werent 100% familiar with the rules
On the first hand, what worse top pair hand could you possibly target? Q-j only? What you said doesn't make sense. 4 handed 10 10 is not a good hand. That's na easy one to get away from.
QJ would be a straight. You can target JT, T9, T8. At these games opponents will call preflop with both the suite and nonsuited Tx hands so there are plenty of combinations to target. Probably a two streets of value hand though. The 1010 hand was a punt for sure.
My friend you play way too tight Then you get called on king high board in 3 bet pot and wrong time to jam What he is calling a 3bet then flop bet with a player behind him

I was gonna say that he might learn how to play PLO before playing those bomb pots.
Yeah, I’m no PLO expert by any means but I’m learning. It’s a fun game and breaks up the monotony of playing NL all the time.
Yep just thinking that.
Nice boss I love the session

@@panicpoker Too many "try hards" at SP 2/3. Wynn 1/3 better
On that bomb pot, you didn't turn thr nut flush draw, only turned a 4. You need 2 diamond in your hand.
Others have pointed that out as well.

Yeah, I’m still a newbie when it comes to PLO. Appreciate you tuning in and the feedback! 🙏
whether you are in Vegas or Texas, nobody gives a crap how unlucky you are running.
You raise your 10 10, but not your JJ??!?
I don’t usually 4bet JJ but maybe I should have considered it in this spot
@panicpoker oh was it to be a 4 bet, not a 3 bet? Sorry I missed that.
You can never win much with a ten in your hand...TT, QT, 9T, AT.....the ten is kinda of a bad card in holdem. Wait for higher broadway cards.

Don't play bomb pots. What's next.
I guess I’m a sicko because I like bomb pots 🤷♂️
Bomb pots are free money if you have any clue on how to play poker
You couldn't be more wrong.... bomb pots are nearly 100 percent luck.....they are fun, but very hard to make consistent profit.
