I don't care about this one, so long as the villain at 17:50 really did have QhQh with a smaller fourth and fifth queen hiding underneath. Forget it, Jake. It's Philly.
NO one deserves it more...? I mean he aight but I can think of a few people ....jk I'm just being a jerk store best seller. Other than giving us more content Ryan is tha man and we all are a part of his poker journey. I don't know that anybody has a better group of supporters, we all win when he wins!
I just came across your channel and you’re already one of my favorite poker TH-camrs. Your videos are top quality and you’re a great dude. Good luck this summer, looking forward to watching you win big again!
Amazing story telling Ryan. Despite the no filming bs they threw at you for the final day, you kept me at the edge of my seat the entire time! Can't wait for the next big tourny win vlog diggity. Lets go!!!!
As a wise man once said, “you gotta win your all ins”. One of the best tourney run-thru’s I’ve seen. Well done. Nice take home. That’ll cover your WSOP!
So you won several flips, but crucially sucked out against not only dominating hands in all in pots but dominating draws post flop….thats the Ryan I remember!
I play a lot of tourneys at Live and when I saw that final 3 on twitter I said ‘ I wouldn’t of chopped with those two either. What a dream spot, Congrats 💯💯
34:41 i love making what I imagine are big laydowns in low/mid stakes tournaments in multi way pots in spots that just shouldn't exist (like two players flatting a flop bet on KJ4 vs an early position raise only to instantly regret it most of the time when the cards are revealed, that said.....I still do it.
Ryan, in 3 year's you've mostly dumped the slots and excelled in tournies big time. Thank's for sharing your journey. This episode is worthy of a second watch. Sharing your strategy and tourney tactics is a great reminder to those that haven been in an ICM position in a while. Like me.... : ) Congrats amigo!!!
Congrats Ryan! It was fun playing/battling with you in the last couple tables! I was the first one to bust the final table. Gutted, but finally glad to see what you had in hand 28:52 + tried unsuccessfully bluffing you w. AQo when you had AA.
@@RyanDepauloDegenerateGambler I think I had Ax7h. I also think this was the second time where we ran into a board with 4 hearts (when we were at 3 tables - 27 ppl I think you also shoved on me and I folded right before break -- I think I got bluffed then too haha).
Never bagged. Ryan you need a short term PR blast to get you more subs. You have the most unique content. You should be way more famous than this on YT. Even if you never made another video. These are classic gold. I watched your run all the way from the beginning, just this year since I found your channel. It's so much fun and I can see how hard you worked to edit and make it as entertaining as it was and is, on the fly. That's just nuts. I would find a company that can specialize in just growing subs for the content you already have which is incredible. I'd find a company that would guarantee me a million subs. Whatever that price is it would be a good investment. You're not a hard sell and you'd make it back fast. Then you can play more poker, too, while your channel makes you more $$. The brain power this must take to film, play, edit all in a day is legendary. There are companies that specialize in doing nothing but getting subs up. I would take a pedigree'd one with a guarantee and run with it. Either way, I've had so much fun watching you. It's been a dark summer. You were a light in it.
I agree with calling with the aces for exactly the reason you gave. It sucks, but you’re going to be right enough for the call to be justified. Great call
This is the first video I have seen of yours. Great work! Do you take a small journal with you to the table? How do other players react to you vlogging and doing thing like that. Seems like it could be a great way to improve one’s play. Do you think that’s why the floor didn’t let you record on day 2
I have bagged day 2 of a tournament, even bagged for day 3 and an FT once...but that was ever so long ago...I am about to get back into live poker for the first time since Covid tho.
I won a WPT event and final tabled a WSOP $1500 2 months later Ryan, so yes, coming back on day two or three is deff cool. Your videos are some of the best. Keep up the good work.
Thex for clearing that Q9 up you Wildman..My gahd what a great video! Congratulations! Boski's No Chop! was epic too, love that you two monsters are boys! Phenomenal stuff RDP 🏆
awesome.vlog...first congrats.....big score and well deserved .....this is probs the best poker vlog ive seen.....you explaining the logic to these hands really helps.....thank you Ryan.....
Ngl the slot machine in the background kept my attention while listening to you talk. This reminds me of the tiktok videos of subway surfers while listening to reddit stories. Great format. Keep it going
Awesome score! I myself bagged 444k after day 1 in my first WPT tourney. It was the Quantum Tournament at the bike last year. Had very interesting spots. Day 1 bubble (12 players left and only 11 go to day 2 on this flight) I got back from break. I'm around 5th in chips. I'm UTG and open QQ with around 60bb. UTG+2 who is like 2nd in chips and very young 3b JAMS. He won't have much left if he loses. I tank call. He had JJ and my QQ held. He busted a few hands later. First time I ever debated folding QQ pre to a 3 bet bc qualifying day 2 includes an extra $500 bonus. He looked super uncomfortable when i announced QQ so I called. Sun ran most of day 2. Semi-bluffed a pro with over 1M in tourney earnings early on day 2. Then KO'd him several hours at another table. Card dead for like 2 hours. 113 make the money. Prob played too tight near the bubble as well. I made it right until the last hand of day 2 with about 12bb on the BTN with AKo. SB snaps with QQ who barely covered. Flops Q88. Turn A. No miracle river to finish 44th out of 2,000 entries to win 3.25k on a single $300 bullet. Best poker experience in my life.
Glad you had fun and that experience thanks for sharing. Any tournament run stories are interesting to me. Especially the magic of first time bagging etc. I’m curious was day 2 ITM like you locked up $500 min cash if day 2 right?
@@RyanDepauloDegenerateGambler surviving day 1 and making day 2 just got you $500 bonus. Then min cash was $655 with 113 players which was day 2. Think i made about 10 pay jumps.
Well done Ryan!! I won my first ring about a month ago for 40K. Very similar run. Will be in Vegas in 2 days for the TOC. Hope to see you there. Parkour
Have bagged and it is a great feeling. You actually got me back into playing when I found your vlog during the pandemic. Hadn't played in 5 years n hadn't played seriously in about a decade. Only tourney I had ever played was a nightly at the Taj in ac when I was 19. Was always a cash player. First MTT I fired was an MSPT kick off for like $400. Finished 11/997 for $4k+. Played 2 live MTTs since n bagged one. Thanks for helping me get back into poker! Still grinding cash n plan to fire a slew of live events in CO this summer n might be headed out to Vegas to fire a couple wsop events.
Great upload Ryan thanks for taking the time to take notes on the hands and relay them to us!! Congrats on another W hope theres many more to come. Epic video you keep my dreams alive! #degentingles
I had to rewatch a good part of this because I was paying attention to the slot machine in the background and I kept thinking that it was finally gonna hit wild-wild-wild
Congratulations! The first time I made a day 2 was 14 years ago at the old Caesars mega stack tournaments. It was so exciting, I was only 25 years old, was the first multi day tournament I ever entered. Couldn't sleep that night, ended up going out 14th but still was like 6x my buy in. The first day 3 I ever made was in 2019, that was amazing especially since I came back to a top 5 stack in the big 50. Unfortunately halfway through day three I was able to get it all in with the flopped nuts, villain flopped top set, board paired immediately on the turn 😢. Hell of a ride though.
Great vid Ryan! But you forgot to mention that I came in 4th (my 99 < A8) and you were glad as I was your strongest opponent on FT 😜. I left you alone to battle two fish!
First live Day2 was also my first live cash, and almost my first live final table. Bagged 7bb, 37th out of 39 players. Managed to get some lucky doubles and wait out other busts to end up 13th out of about 700-ish players. Final hand ran 66 into AA, but had a sweat catching an up/down straight flush draw on the flop, only to brick out. The real degen/crazy/stupid part for me was that, as a rec player, I hadn't planned for if I made Day2, so I basically stayed up all night wandering the streets or playing video poker until the game restarted. It didn't even cross my mind to just see if the casino had a vacant room.
at 38:17 I DID have Q9ss but mis stated the board: the real board was KJ9
Lol I was thinking wtf is he talking about he has 2 pair !! Nice run bro
No one cares. Ya mom.
I was thinking maybe you had K9 ;-)

You're supposed to do that on purpose and let people correct you. Social engineer those comments! Love your videos!

Did I miss something on that Q9 hand at around 40 minutes? He was happy for a check down with 2 pair? Maybe just a visual bug.
I thought the same thing. Glad someone noticed
I bagged a 2 day event at a wsopc event in Calgary a couple years ago. As a short stack.. Busted out a few spots out of the money on day 2.
